Great fresh seafood. Owners are hard working. They run a nice clean shop. The owner's wife gets really hostile when you complain about anything to do with their seafood. We are from Maine and know Lobster. We purchased 2 - 1.5 to 2.0 lb. lobsters at a very expensive price. We steamed them the same day as we have done for the last 35 years eating lobster. These lobsters were very old and tuff. We ended up composting them and not eating them. My wife called them to advise them of the problem and the owners wife starting ranting about they do not sell bad product's and it was our fault. My wife retained her composure, but had to hang up the phone. The sad part is we usually spend between $100 and $150 each time I make the 80 mile round trip to their market. We like to support small family business but will not tolerate the treatment received over the phone that day. We will never visit their establishment again. Unfortunate for us as we really liked the place.
Guess they can afford to throw away customers.

These people are awesome. Very helpful. Fresh seafood... can't be beat this far inland!! ... they didn't have the Lamp!!

Highly recommended, the best seafood in the area.

We purchased 2 pounds of flounder and two pounds of rainbow trout to use in our Chinese hot pot dinner. The flounder was extremely tasty with a rich, fluffy texture. The trout had a much stronger flavor, but it paired perfectly with a roasted sesame oil dipping sauce we made.

We absolutely loved the quality and the flavor. We will definitely be buying more fish from them in the future. ?

Hadn't been here in a couple years. What a mistake. Got me some gumbo, fish cakes, crab salad, dill dip and a beautiful rainbow trout! Just finished my trout.Service is top notch! I will be buying more fish very shortly! Didn't know how easy it is to make!

I purchased 2 Maine lobsters and cooked them when I got home. They were alive, but barely. These were the worst lobsters I have ever tried to eat. The meat was dry, very tough and I literally could not chew the tails, and thru them in the trash. I have lived in Maine all my life, now retired and living in North Carolina. I know what fresh Maine lobster is supposed to taste like. These were NOT FRESH lobsters. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner today about my frustration with these lobsters. She was adamant that she could not do anything to help me, and keep me as a happy customer. No suggestion was given to me for a credit or even a replacement of another product. NOTHING, just arguing with me about "she has no control over the freshness of the lobsters". So very disappointed in the way this business owner takes care of her customers.If you want FRESH MAINE LOBSTERS, do NOT buy from this store. You will be wasting your money!

Definitely a place I will be back to shop with, very informative and friendly. Helped me in deciding what fish was best for my needs. The owner is a wonderful honest guy. I'd give them a 10 if I could! Wonderful experience!!!
