Absolutely my favorite when it comes to a local deli. Incredible sandwiches...espcially the Big Poppa....not a everyday menu item, but trust me, you'll want to try it. This place is a local legend in my mind.

Good food
Convenient location
Sweetest tea
Remodeled some of the inside

I love this place. I’ve been coming here for 10+ years and have brought along many friends and family. I always get the hot spot (spicy pimento cheese, Black Forest ham, bacon) with chips and a small side of pasta salad. Most of the time I take a pint of pasta salad home with me. Friends and family have tried many of the sandwich/salad offerings with great things to say. The food here is delicious and service is great too.

Food was good but my choice (Big Cheese) was unimaginative. My friends choices looked better lol. Service was great. Place is nothing fancy but it’s clean. This is my sister’s favorite lunch stop so I know I’ll be back.

Sandwich was tough...quiche was at least two days old...salad was lettuce only. Staff is pleasant enough, but you order from the counter and clear your own table--so why do they ask for tip? The restaurant interior is old, tired, and dirty. A huge trash receptacle by the front door is the first thing to greet you.

My favs are the quiche, chicken salad croissants and different teas. But all food is good. Friendly staff, good food, quick service. Dining inside and out. They close at 3. We made the mistake of going at 2:30 and they didn't seem very happy about it. I can't imagine working in customer service and not smiling back at customers that were smiling at me. But no matter what we did, the guy taking our order wouldn't smile.Music stops and vacuums start at 3 sharp. My recommendation is not to go at all if you can't be there by 2pm.

Temp inside is not too cold and not too hot. Great selection of sandwiches that break the mold on a regular deli selection.

An eastside favorite.

Although the food was very good, service is mediocre & the ambience appears as it did 15 years ago. Worn out tables, chairs & carpets... so drab & dreary

Turned away 20-25 minutes before posted closing time. Why even have hours if you don't honor them?
