First timers, just happen to be in the area. I had 1/2 of Reuben & Chef Salad with Dill dressing. Husband had Pastrami & Cheese with German Potato Salad. Excellent! And the owner's were wonderful!

Had the Reuben on a Saturday about 1:30pm, the place wasn’t busy at all and we received pleasant prompt service. Everyone one of the tables had been used, they must do a good lunch business. The Reuben was decent, not the best but worthy of another visit. They use plenty of sauerkraut, good portion of corned beef, cheese and mustard. The mustard was a surprise ( I didn’t read the menu ), so I requested a little thousand island on the side. With that, everything was right with the world. Interesting cafe with German sundries, meats, cheeses also for sale. Beats the chain restaurants every day. Try it, you’ll like it.

Would not recommend. Went to pick up my mom some items for an early Mother’s Day gift. Bought a box of Grabower Schokoladen-Schaumküsse- they were so old and hard you could not eat them. Also got liver wurst and as soon as I gave it to my mom we realized it was out of date.
I drove all the way back to store. No apologize at all. They did exchange the items. The second box of Grabower Schokoladen-Schaumküsse were still OLD and not edible. If you do go here please check expiration date.
The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. I will go back soon. My guest was a first timer there and loved his meal.

Been going since the 1980s. I spent 4 years in around Central Germany, this authentic stuff. The Fleishsalat is spot on, only thing would make it better would be milch bröchen.
