About Flock Shop

Flock Shop offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly staff and very good food. The owners personally introduce themselves to customers, adding a special touch to the experience. The bar service is excellent, making it a place worth revisiting for a great lunch. Visitors from Pennsylvania stopped in for lunch and found it to be their favorite restaurant of the trip. They enjoyed sitting at one of the picnic tables outside with their dog. Despite a heatwave, fans and a shaded awning kept everyone comfortable. Their server was very friendly and attentive, making sure drinks were refilled and the dog was comfortable. The food was delicious, with generous serving sizes. They ordered the Southern Egg Rolls (their favorite), Mac n Chesse Fritters, Catfish Nuggets, 3 Kinda Hot Tenders with sides of Hushpuppies and Fries. There were plenty of leftovers to take home. The covered patio was dog-friendly, shaded, and equipped with soft turf for dogs to lie on, along with big fans to keep everyone cool in the 95+ degree weather. They received a warm greeting and a bowl of ice water for their pup. The food menu included mac n’ cheese fritters, southern egg rolls, catfish nuggets, “kinda hot” chicken tenders, hush puppies, and french fries. Their sauces were all good, but the Cheerwine BBQ was a favorite. The server kept cups and doggy bowls topped off at all times. The hot chicken and Buffalo chicken dip had more spice than flavor, and the chicken Philly was decent but had more peppers and onions than chicken. Overall, the Flock Shop is human/doggy/northerner approved, with great service and sweet tea standing out. It’s a perfect spot for southern comfort food and cooling off on a hot day.
