I wish I could give them 6 stars! I used to live in Atlanta and the only thing I've really missed is excellent Indian food. At last my wait is over! The spice blends are perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat. The basmati is so aromatic!

If you aren't sure where to start, i recommend the following dishes:
Garlic naan
Mixed pakoras
Mango Lassi
Chicken Tikka Masala
Green pea pulao

I can't wait to go back!

Recently visited this spot on a Friday evening. We enjoyed sitting outside on their large outdoor patio. The food was amazing, and even my kids raved about it. The staff were very friendly, and interacted with us every time they came to the table, making us feel comfortable and at home. We'll definitely be back!

I have gone twice once for dinner and once for the lunch buffet. Both times had wonderful food.

My husband and I have a wonderful dinner here this evening! I am an Indian food connoisseur so I was excited to try this new place! We had the Tandoori Feast for 2 - it was phenomenal! The flavors were unbeatable. Even my husband who is very hesitant about trying new foods said it was amazing! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I love Indian food and this place is exactly what Spartanburg needs. This is my 2nd time here now and both buffet and regular dinners for both. Highly recommended.

Very, very good food and extremely good service. We stopped by today, finally, and enjoyed the lunch buffet. I tasted everything and every single item was fantastic. I'm extremely impressed and cannot wait to return - probably stop in for dinner service next time. Very happy to have this establishment in Spartanburg!!

Vegetarian options: Indian food is known for being vegetarian friendly and they clearly mark which dishes are vegetarian.

Food and service are great! Tikka masala is slightly more tomato than creamy for those who prefer it that way. Vindaloo was great as well. The star though was the mango curry! It was just chefs kiss.

Yum :) I assumed I would not like Indian cuisine but I was wrong!
Upon first entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a wonderful aroma. We were seated promptly and brought water and menus. The menu is expansive and almost overwhelming. There were many enticing choices. I could visit there dozens of times and never have the same meal twice. I ordered tomato shorba soup and panak paneer with cheese. My honey ordered a green salad, lamb kabobs, and garlic naan. They didn't seem to offer regular salad dressing. The server brought us a mint sauce. Not sure if that was the case or if there was a language barrier.

Our food was out-of-this-world delicious. Our leftovers provided each of us with lunch the following day. I am eager to eat there again.... and again and again!

They have a bar with beer, wine, and limited liquor.

Service was a little slow for taking our order and for bringing us our check. Once we ordered, the food arrived promptly. This is by no means a deal breaker. Service was still really good. But this is the reason I didn't give 5 stars for service.

Vegetarian options: For example, panak paneer could be ordered with cheese or with tofu.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to grab dinner on a Saturday night. We love Indian food so I did a quick google search and came across this new restaurant Garlic and Ginger. We were both excited about the Upstate having fine dining Indian, so we went on a whim. The lamb Rogan Josh and naan was delicious! Our server was courteous, and it was overall a wonderful experience. I encourage everyone to give this place a try!
