Groucho’s is a staple in downtown and a staple in my life (lol). I work downtown and I always factor in how many times I’m going to eat Groucho’s when I meal plan. Even when I don’t need food, I’m going for an Arnold Palmer. The staff are friendly and ask how business is for us. Love the little group they have and look forward to seeing them!

After a bunch of bbq and chicken during our stay in Spartanburg, we were looking for something a bit lighter for our final meal of our visit. When I was looking for ideas on reddit, someone said not to sleep on Groucho's. We had actually been to the BBQ across the street a couple days earlier. I'm glad we saved this for last. I ordered a STP Dipper (warm roast beef, turkey, bacon bits, and cheese), and my wife did a traditional deli club. The sandwiches and service were amazing. I don't know that it is possible to replicate the STP back home, but I am going to try 🤣

Went here last weekend and everything was pretty good! The seating outside is where it's at, especially on a nice sunny day. They're house sauce is great, dip the original chips in it, trust! Credits to Joseph for the idea, he was great at helping me choose what to get and just friendly in general. If you're craving a good sub today, go here and you won't be disappointed! P.s. Order one of the Dr. Brown's sodas, it's better than any fountain drink!

Groucho’s has always been one of my favorites sandwich shops. I no longer live in SC, but anytime I’m back in the state and near one I make a point to visit!

I am truly frustrated with giving restaurants my money and getting short changed on the food I receive. This is a deli and the lack of care that went into making my turkey club and pastrami sandwiches was abysmal. The turkey was slimey and the sandwich was sloppily thrown together unlike their picture, plus the mayo was missing. The three slices of pastrami on rye was very tasty but come on, the three slices did not cover the small slices of rye bread issued. The mustard slaw, pickles and fiesta power salad were awesome. The pasta salad was okay.
I grew up eating in the best delis in NY & NJ area. Those sandwiches need some work. Do better!

I had the Baby Bella Melt, and it was fantastic! A great option for those not eating meat. My aunt tried the Baby Bella Salad and said it was different but really good. Overall, we enjoyed our meals!
