Understated building with the best fried chicken I've had thus far. Try the sweet potato crunch. Keep in mind if you show up late in the evening, it is likely they may be out of whatever is it you seek. They are popular. The staff are stellar people. I have no idea if they have a seating area as we are usually doing take out. I'm thrilled they semi-recently joined Hub City Delivery.

Came from Greenville. 30 minutes there and back. Ordered a 12 piece family meal with sides. I was really enjoying my meal until I was eating the sweet potato crunch & pulled out a long gray/white strand of hair from it. I was immediately disgusted and turned off. Needless to say the food went into the trash after that. & something tasted off with the mac and cheese and well, like a spoiled taste. What a shame.

01/31/2024 I ordered a 12 piece, all dark, family meal with potatoes and gravy, sweet potato crunch, mac & cheese, and an extra side of green beans, with two deserts. Paid over $60, normally it has been good. Got home to feed the family and I could not eat the chicken. It was dry and had been sitting for a while. The sides were just as bad. Tried to call a couple of times, just to let them know but was sent to an answering service with no voice mail.

The chicken strips are awesome, and the sweet potatoes are amazing. Everything is really good. Try the sweet and sassy sauce if you like a little heat. I can't say enough about the girl taking the money. She's been there a long time and she's really friendly. You are lucky to have her.
Got a 3 piece and they gave me a wing too making it a 4 piece. Chx was really good. Drive thru moved way faster than expected. There was some strange stuff going on like ppl walking up to the drive through window and the inside is all shut down but overall adds to the atmosphere of the place in a positive way.

Blown away! So glad we went inside, too, the folks here are so welcoming, and all friendly and respectful to each other as well. All clearly happy employees! The food was fabulous, and so was the service. Incredible chicken stew!
