Well I’ve eaten here more than enough times I hate I didn’t review it before the final night of service. Sadly they will be closing 9/8/2024
The piggy pancakes at brunch was a must.
Loved the rabbit and pork chop.
Best grits and collards in Spartanburg. As well as my all time favorite place to get a smoked old fashioned.
Will miss the food and great staff I’ve met over my visits here.
Also one of the most beautiful restaurants in Spartanburg.
Until next time IQ

Fantastic food and service. Platter gives several good choices and enough food to fill two people and still have leftovers. Probably my favorite place in Spartanburg.
We look forward to sitting at the bar for a couple cocktails with Cal. The never-ending list of meat and Mac and cheese are a bonus! This place is smoky gem in the heart of Spartanburg with a cool date night vibe. Always take home some bread pudding.

I was visiting Spartanburg and found this little gem of a restaurant. Had a delicious BBQ rib plate with two sides. The ribs were authentic and perfect. It's nice when the meat falls off the bone, as they say. The Mac and cheese was creamy and really good. Cole slaw tasty. I got the banana pudding for desert and enjoyed it very much. If you want good BBQ, this is the spot to visit in Spartanburg. Enjoy!
Salmon was over cooked and dry, asparagus was over cooked (mushy), and so tiny couldn't poke with a fork. Sub par food that was over priced. Atmosphere and ambiance was spot on.
We had Keira as our waitress. She was so kind and always made sure we were good on our brunch drinks!

Walking in the atmosphere was very appealing. After placing our drink order we were brought an order of pork rinds which were very stale. We then ordered the platter of different meats and sides. I had high hopes from our impression walking in but unfortunately that’s where it ended. The meat was the most flavorless I’ve had at a restaurant. The meat was dry and lacked any flavor and or seasoning. Almost as if it was just boiled and put on a smoker to try and add a smoke undertone. Service was really good, they kept our drinks filled and were pleasant. I hope this place is able to rebound and make some adjustments on the so called bbq.

We had a wonderful experience in nearly every way. Our wheelchair was easily accommodated. Service and food perfect. The restaurant is gorgeous and perfectly clean. Unfortunately the AC must have been out, however there were multiple fans going and our party was comfortable in spite of the issue. I'm certain it will be resolved after the weekend.
This was our second time visiting here. Just like the first time it was quite pleasant. I love the fact that it's so peaceful with no loud music or screaming crying children. The service could have been better and this goes for our first visit as well. It seems the servers are not as attentive to the tables as they should be. But over all the food was great minus the fact that it was cold when it came out and I had to send it back to be warmed. The salad had a really sweet salad dressing on it that my husband absolutely did not like. He had to send it back. But other than that I think we will return when we are in the area.
The food was cold for the second time. The air conditioning was broken. The brought out a fan and never turned it on. A worker was vaping behind a partician, we could see him. Gross, we've eaten here several times. We're not going back.

We came by chance and we left very satisfied. Great food, excellent service, very cute restaurant design, all for a great price!

I’ve never enjoyed the food ? but the sitting is cute downtown Spartanburg. May 19th 2024 was my last day in that establishment! The lack of kindness and the poor customer service was missed on Sunday. It was my brother’s 30th birthday. My family is large however we are manageable and understanding. Our party had 12 adults, 4 kids one who was autistic and 2 small toddlers. We thought it would be fun since the only other people there was a cute bridal shower and a party upstairs. After waiting 20 minutes for bottomless mimosa we figured let’s try and move upstairs seemed like the party was leaving. So I asked Chris the manager for the second time if there was anyway we could move ourselves upstairs, I had already asked at my auntie request and he declined nicely. The second time I asked he said “sure, let me ask how long they would be”, he went up and came back down within 30 seconds and said “they will be another hour in a half” No biggie right! Well the private party was over 20 minutes after he told me an hour in a half. they left as we where getting our bottomless mimosas.
where’s the food?!?! well we ordered and waited and waited; my auntie remembered her and my uncle coming the week before. She gave us her review and you guessed it. The taste of everything was just NOT GOOD; omelettes over cooked, biscuits hard as a rock, Brisket had no flavor and overall the food was just not good at all.
The restrooms were nice and it was great to read about the history of the establishment. There’s still a lot of work to do when it comes to having a genuine heart to serve people in that building!
I would not recommend anyone go there and eat not while it’s under the current management it has. It is my strongest suggestion to look somewhere else for your private celebrations, dinners, or gathers!

Overall a adequate experience. It was a special occasion and the we left feeling "blah". The food was reasonable and the service was decent but it wasn't the experience l was hoping to get for special occasion especially considering the price paid. This was the second visit to this restaurant and it is unlikely l will return.
Food is good and our waitress was really nice and helpful but what sets this place off os honestly the atmosphere. Very relaxed and the design is really great! Definitely a head turner once you sit down and look around. Overall will be back and highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian but the dishes are clearly labeled and sounded great! If they are anything like the rest of the food you will not be disappointed!

Bad bad bad. This food is way overpriced the bbq was bland and dry and it took 45 mins to get app. Also the owner is a prick.
