WORST CURRY GOAT EVER!!! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER MEAL FROM THS ESTABLISHNENT!!!!! This is the 2nd time, I purchased form this store. The first time I feel I was given the bottom of the pots, because everything was burnt. I complained and received my money back!! It has been over a year, and I thought that if I make purchase early in the day, lunch time. How could I go wrong? Wrong!! The food was awful, awful!!! the goat meat was chewy; I never was able to actually chew not one piece of goat meat!!! I never swallowed not one dang piece!! HORRENDOUS, THE ONLY GOOD THING ON MY PLATE WAS RICE AND ANOTHER THNG, WHERE WAS THE FRIED BANANAAS?? NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! YUK, YUK!! I complained and all I got was a sorry!! Wasn't going to get anything else, i threw the remainder of the food in the trash!!!

The Best authentic Jamaican food I’ve had in while. The oxtails were delicious…quality of the food and portion size very reasonable. This restaurant will be my go to.

Whoever called themselves making and cheese, stay out the kitchen!! I started to love this place and that’s quickly fading. The Rasta pasta is hit or miss. The oxtails and rice and peas never miss though.

Just being honest here—I’ve been a loyal customer because the food used to be consistently good. I usually order the oxtail plate, and if I got it around noon, it was always hot, flavorful, and the oxtails were nice and tender. But the last few times I’ve ordered, the pasta has been cold—like it was reheated leftovers—and the oxtails just aren’t “oxing” anymore. For the price I’m paying, I expect better quality. I really wanted to keep supporting them and have given it a few chances to turn around. On a positive note, the staff has always been friendly. But the food just hasn’t been living up to its old standard.

The Oxtails and Cabbage were on point. Seasoned well, tender, and plenty for a reasonable price. Convenient to town, court house, and Spartanburg Marriott.

Eh, its ok. The Oxtails are plentiful and most of the portions are good but can be a little bland sometimes. Also the old trope of Jamaican places not having all the items on the menu at any given time has gotten really old and annoying now. If you don't have the item, take it off the menu. Also using frozen packs of peas carrots and corn for your cabbage and rasta pasta is nasty and recommend fresh veggies. Other than that, the food is alright the smoothies are really good I hope they are made with real fruit and not with fruit syrup...

No Cow foot soup or red pea soup 🥺

I finally visited the restaurant location after seeing the trucks around town many times. I was able to try the ox tails and goat curry. Both of which were delicious and full of flavor. The Ox tails had a surprisingly decent amount of meat that locked in the flavor.
I was not a fan of the macaroni and cheese as it seemed dry but the candy yams and rice were good.

Their flavorful Jamaica food also can be found at their food trucks around town and I hope to try something else out soon at one of their stops to see how they hold consistency.

Me and my wife just had Kingston Homestyle kitchen. We both order the oxtails plates mine was supposed to be a large and it was not. The oxtails were seasoned good but were not tinder at all. And they were small. I rate my experience there a 5. I will not be going back

Look idk if y'all need to make a second or third batch of oxtails but I'm fed up receiving hard over cooked and or meatless oxtails. Especially in the evening. I let it slide last week but this week all of them were over cooked and going in the trash.

Great, authentic Jamaican food. If you're not familiar with Jamaican food, you're missing out on some very tasty food and owe it to yourself to check it out. Start with a beef patty (mild if you're not into spicy). It's a great quick and go snack at a reasonable price if you need something for the road that's better than fast food quality. For a full meal, you can never go wrong with the classic black beans n rice, plantains and jerk chicken.

I ordered the small Oxtails with 2 sides
Ripe Plantains & Rasta Pasta and I was very pleased with my order. There were enough oxtails to have for lunch the next day. I will be returning to sample additional meals. The portions for the price were excellent.

Parking: The parking was free however I can see it getting very tight during high-traffic time
