so the reason i am giving this place 2 stars was not because of the food, the food was amazing but the waitress was the problem they were nice but i went here with a friend and we was sat, our order was taking and once we received our food we NEVER seen our waitress again. our drinks were gone half way thru the meal so i had to go look for someone to get the check and a box cus there were no waitress in sight but when i went around the front they were all sitting down together on there phones. terrible service ive ever encountered. again our waitress never checked on us.

Great central American food. Large portions. Clean restaurant thats family friendly. Chimichurri was tender and flavorful. The seafood soups were a hit with the family as well. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food, everything is super delicious but the attention on the weekend is very bad and the volume of the music is too much, it is impossible to talk and go as a family. It would be very nice if they can improve the customer service and have the music on low volume because it is too

Having just spent 9 days in central America on vacation we were excited about having some authentic cuisine. Now, just to be fair, we were in Quintana Roo and this food is from Guatamala, El Salvador, Nicaragua which are foods I've never experienced. Here are my thoughts. 1. The chips were stale and the salsas had no salt or really any seasoning.2. The service was a little slow however this could just be language issues and I'm fine with that.3. The carne dish was just ok, the rice and beans were dry and worse the plantains were dry. The steak was ok but thin and over cooked. The chicken dish was actually better and was really the only flavorful thing I had.4. The place has been renovated great and you do get the feeling you're in a nice Central American restaurant. The only reason I'm giving the food a 4 is that I'm not sure about these countries' true food flavors. Maybe their preferences are bland and dry. Mine are not. On pure preference I would be at a 3.5. Prices are reasonable. For quantity of food. Please don't judge this place based on American expectations of a Mexican restaurant. That is not what this is and I hope for the best for their future. We need more authenticity in our food options in our area and I applaud their gamble.

Excellent food, I love it, I live right here in Spartanburg and almost every weekend I get to eat the picado or some shrimp, but the customer service is terrible.I would like to give it at least 4 stars, but customer service is much more than fundamental in a restaurant.Almost always one waits more than 15 minutes to at least be able to ask for water. They must improve a lot, I was a waiter, cook, bartender and assistant manager in a restaurant too.It is my humble opinion

This place is the best Mexican/Latin/South American food in the upstate. It is a must try. Never a bad meal and the service is always on point. So many choices and so little time...
