Love their pizza! Was recommended to us as a very unassuming place with great pizza and that’s exactly what it is. Their pizza does no wrong, is very consistent, and has the NY style that is my favorite kind of pizza.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! We ordered everything from lobster ravioli to pizza and it was all good. Prices are higher than their menu online, but still good value. Service was great! Pizza was amazing so definitely try that.

After 3 visits we decided to try the pizza (1/2 meatball, 1/2 pepperoni). Best pizza in 18 months being here (orig from Jersey). Can’t wait to go back for more.

My 15 year son went and ate here by himself and they charged him 30 dollars for chicken alfredo. I called up there and they said it's 21 dollars to eat alfredo and 7 dollars to add chicken that's absolutely ridiculous and it's PRICE GAULGING. who would pay that!? Very upset my son spent 30 dollars of his own money not knowing there are actually places like this that charge ridiculously insane prices! Update. The waitress tanya called me after I had called and spoke with a manager and was mad my son didn't leave a tip. Called me 3 times until I answered. How is a place like this able go operate business in such manner. I have never. She also lied about what he got so I'm pretty sure they seen a young boy and took advantage and overcharged him. Ridiculous.
Veal and chicken dishes were delicious. Service was adequate and the food was hot. Garlic bread appetizer was enormous and delicious. Expect it to be on the expensive side.
This was a lovely little place that we decided to try. Normally in Spartanburg there is a wait anywhere but we walked right it and we're seated immediately. It was a great spot to enjoy a private night with your family or your spouse. The waitress was wonderful and our food delicious! We definitely enjoyed our experience! I definitely recommend!
The food is very tasty for 5 stars, the waiters work for 5 stars, but the manager's Judy attitude towards people is terrible, we asked to seat our friends at our table, but she refused. We asked to seat friends at the next table, were refused. All that we were offered was to seat our friends at the other end of the hall or to leave the restaurant altogether, they left. All this happened with such a face as if we asked to leave the restaurant. So, if you are not afraid of the fact that the manager may treat you terribly, then welcome.

We have been experiencing recurring issues with the hostess at La Taverna during our Sunday lunches with friends. Despite making advance reservations, we consistently encounter problems with the greeting process. The hostess's attitude is unacceptable, and she demonstrates a lack of concern for the customer experience. While other employees attempted to intervene and resolve the situation, the overall experience was unpleasant and could be prevented. Not coming back !
