1-11-26…. I ordered through the McDonalds app because my 2 year old was sick and I didn’t wanna get out the car. I waited over 20mins for someone to bring out my food no one never came so I went inside the manger acted like he was so busy and ima rush he didn’t even check on me. So after he passed me again I asked aye my man just checking on the status of my meal he instantly got hostile you see I’m The only one up here right you see that right I said yeah but I’ve been waiting over 30 mins he said they was here before you I said I ordered online curbside over 30 mins ago I asked for a refund he said no then asked me if I wanted to step out side to handle it like men meaning he was going to fight me… I am a veteran I’m not trying to fight you over a meal that’ I paid for and been waiting for half a hour for.. it’s so much that happened I would never go back I even called corporate and told them now I’m waiting on a response back.

Avoid avoid avoid avoid!!!!! I usually avoid this McDonald's like the plague. But on occasion, I will stop to see if the service has gotten better. It never does, and somehow it manages to get worse. I stopped by two days ago. The only thing I ordered was a beverage via the app. There was a car in each drive thru lane at the ordering box. After a few minutes, I noticed that neither of the lanes were moving. After about 10 minutes, the car in front of me drove off. Ok, my turn. Someone came on the speaker and said that someone would be with me shortly. After about 6 minutes, no one came back. There were other cars in the other drive thru lane that also drove off. I drove up to the second window. There were 2 cars in front of me. After about 10 mins, I made my way to the 2nd window. The lady immediately handed me out a beverage. I explained to her that there drive thru mechanism must be broken because there are a line of cars back there, and no one is taking orders. She stepped back so that I could see the manager behind her, that I guess she wanted to handle my complaint. He just looked at me, offered no explanation nor apology. Meanwhile, I can see other cars that were waiting behind me also drive off. I told them I had ordered in the app and just had a beverage. They fixed my beverage and I was finally on my way. Drive thrus are supposed to be a quicker option as opposed to going in. I'm disabled, so going in is not a convenient option for me. I will continue to avoid this McDonald's until I see a big sign outside stating that they are under new management. It really needs to hire all new people whom care about customer service and not people that just come and collect a pay check.

If you ignore the reviews and go here anyways, LIKE ME, you will be writing a review later too. I’ve been to McD with a bus of 50 people before and we did not wait 45 minutes. I went here today BY MYSELF and waited 45 minutes on 3 frozen microwaved pancakes. I waited so long that my order was deleted off the screen which caused me to wait even longer.

We know it’s chaotic and usually just go all the way to East Main. Today, we tried again. We did a small mobile order of 1 breakfast meal, went inside, and stood 35 mins. No one is even working the lobby/register! They mostly ignored us with an occasional “what are you waiting on”. After 35 mins, we left. Hopefully we get a refund but doesn’t appear that way based on the app response we are getting. WORST MCDONALDS IN SPARTANBURG. sad
I would give zero stars if I could. Half the time when I go they say they’re closed bc they are short staffed and there will be 5-6 workers outside playing around. Tonight I place a mobile order thinking just maybe I can get it and go figure nobody came on the speaker, drove around the building and the employees were sitting at a table with a big mcdelivery bag eating just looking at me. Get new employees that wanna work or just close.
