Travelled down to see some family and came in when it was rather busy but the serving staff was on top of their game! With a bustling atmosphere, I remember his name was Jake, didn’t let my drink go empty. He made sure I was satisfied with the quality of my sushi and had even asked if I had any allergic restrictions which most places don’t do. He was kind, swift, and sweet! The host at the door, I believe her name is Joceline, was very friendly and swiftly sat us down with no problem, even retrieving a high chair for my niece. 11/10 would dine here again!

People have raved on and told me about this place, decided to check it out, worst decision EVER! Got extreme food poisoning and was sent to the ER from unfresh sushi and the server was extremely rude! RUN AWAY THIS PLACE WILL GET YOU SEVERELY SICK!!

Good food! The yum yum sauce had an odd tang to it that wasn't my preference. The steak was cooked perfectly. The sushi was a big hit. The ingredients all seemed to be very fresh. We were seated in the back room right by the kitchen door which was really annoying since we got there before opening... We were the third ones in the door. There were plenty of decent seats available, but we felt like we got put in a back corner where we could not enjoy any sort of atmosphere. Overall, it was really good and the prices were good compared to most similar restaurants.

In my opinion, this place has always been the best sushi restaurant in SC. I could recommend so much! For the sushi lovers Carolina Girl is amazing! And for everyone else: Tornado Cucumber, Zucchini Chips, and Tatsuta Agé

Had an absolutely great time here tonight and the sushi rolls were fantastic. Had the Tansui Trio (10/10), S/t Blossom (8.75/0), and Aloha (8/10).
