Absolutely amazing sushi, appetizers and drinks. Very decently priced and the restaurant is clean and modern. The bar is great. The Brussel sprouts appetizer is like crack and the most delicious way I’ve ever eaten it. The Sweet Chili Crab roll is my favorite and the sushi, all of it, is so very fresh. Freshest I’ve had. Can’t say enough about the food here. Don’t sleep on this place.

This was my first time here and it was great! My favorite sushi place is Irashai so it makes sense as the place is pretty much the same, down to the menu. I got all my usual favorites. Pretty cool atmosphere and the staff were great! I forgot to take pics of what I ordered, but I got a pic of what I took home.

Top-Notch Sushi & Great Service! A Spartanburg Classic
Stopped into Miyako Sushi and was reminded why we love supporting local spots like this. The food was excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care and experience. Big thanks to Mike, who keeps things moving behind the sushi bar. I’ve always believed the key to great sushi is the quality of the sticky rice and the freshness of the fish and Miyako nails both. Consistency is everything, and they deliver.
What really stood out this time, though, was the service. Melissa went out of her way to find the race for me on TV something she didn’t have to do, but she did it with a smile. Thank you!
Our server, their daughter was also incredibly friendly and attentive. She helped me choose between a few of my go-to favorites, and let’s just say… great decisions were made.
We also noticed the new booths; they look fantastic and add a fresh feel to the place, even though we didn’t sit in one.
It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the atmosphere right, but Miyako does. We’ll definitely be back.
Still the best sushi in Spartanburg, in my opinion. I don't get to go a lot but love this place and the food they serve!

Unfortunately the sushi here was worse than mid. Below average. The fish didnt taste as fresh, I have been here 4 times because I think every business deserves multiple chances, but unfortunetly today is my last time here since everytime it's the same, which is average. If you want authentic delicious specialty sushi, This place is not it. 0 stars for food. 0 stars for the atmosphere which is cold, doesnt feel warm or inviting. Boring grey walls, makes you feel like you are eating at a hospital or a business office situation. 1 star for good service & 1 star for cleaniness.

I discovered this place a few days ago and I’m embarrassed to say I’ve been here 3 times in the last 4 days. Sushi, service, and atmosphere is amazing! The manager Melissa gets 5 stars as well! Order the Sweet Chili Crab and the 3 Shells sushi.. thank me later!!! I go to sushi restaurants all over the world, literally and this is top 2 of my experience! Great job!
