Closest thing to an authentic New York deli around here by a long shot. I’ve tried the Kracken, Terminator, The Don, Capresse, Rueben, and Cuban. Hands down best sub around!! The owner came out and talked with me about our love of authentic pizza and Italian food. They are all from NY and NJ so they know how to do it right!! Had their red velvet cake and it was the best I’ve ever had. 100% recommend you give them a try!!Kid-friendliness: My kids love the Terminator sandwichWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for wheelchairs at any of their seating.

My only regret is that it took me 36 years of life to find this place. Holy cow what a delicious sandwich. Service was ultra friendly and way faster than I expected. This will be my go to lunch spot in Spartanburg no matter how tricky the parking may be.

The shop is the real deal! The flavors were great and the portions were large. It's a small location, but it had enough tables to fit 12 people or so. I would love to try another sandwich and maybe a cannoli next time. The parking lot is awkward and messy - good luck getting in quickly or safely from any direction.

My husband saw reviews for this sub shop online and was convinced we needed to drive the 27 mins to give it a shot. Walking into the shop we were immediately excited about the decor and the personal collection of the shop owners! They had all sorts of collectible decor and random baubles. Their menu was full of delicious sounding options but I opted for a favorite which was the Kraken. Roast beef, turkey, jalapeño bacon, chipotle mayo, and cheddar cheese LOADED into a hoagie bun.Holy cow, it was delicious and had the perfect amount of kick! My husband got a meatball sub that was also packed with TWO rows of meatballs, marinara, cheese, and he enjoyed every bite!The owner surprised us with some mini cannolis and some famous Amos cookies for our little one. He was very generous and kind! He made us feel very welcome, as well as the other shop employees. It was a great experience and we will gladly eat there again! Don’t hesitate, just walk in and start ordering! You won’t be disappointed!

I read the reviews and gave this place a try. My Philly was absolutely tasteless. I tried to continue eating it but I couldn't. The Italian was a little better but still missed the mark on taste and flavor. Definitely not for me.

Mom and Pop's Diner serves 2 2lbs of meat with your, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. Crackling spicy is what you should get! If you want a sandwich come this is your place! if you are watching your weight this Ain't your place! But if you want to be full and see where/what, you spent your money on visit here!

This is a restaurant that has NO public restroom! I was so rudely told that on 10/16 at lunch time when I went to wash my hands. There was an older gentleman in the back not wearing gloves making a salad. I ate a veggie sub with extra veggies - only lettuce tomato onion? About 4 hours later I came down with food poisoning which I’m still dealing with. They will never make another dime off of me. I’ve heard they told others the reason for no restrooms is it’s a to go place - then why were there 4 tables full of people eating a sandwich? Make it make sense!

Couple of things to know up front. The breads picked up from Charlotte and driven about 85 mi to both locations in the upstate. Next thing to know when they run out of bread they're done for the day, so get there early if you can. Better than Subway, better than Jersey Mike's. Still better than Firehouse too. You know those old hole in the walls that you hear your parents and grandparents talking about. This was a place at the look like the roof was ready to fall in but the food was always amazing. This is one of those places, except the roof is not falling in.
