I’ve been to this Panera Bread several times now, and I’m honestly fed up. The service here is absolutely terrible. Every time I go through the drive-through, I end up waiting an absurd amount of time at the window—no greeting, no update, just sitting there wondering if they forgot about me. And after all that waiting, the food is just… meh. For a location in this part of town, that’s honestly shocking. You’d expect better service in a more developed area—not something that feels like it belongs in the middle of nowhere. It’s frustrating, disappointing, and not worth the time or money at this point. This Panera needs serious management attention.
The photo is what I got when I ordered the new Fromage (could not type it with a straight face) Croissant Toast Sandwich. Did I really just pay $8.50 for a confusingly sugary mozzarella, onions and plain mayo on plain burnt-but-also-soggy bread? Why, yes. Yes I did.
Panera, you charge way too much for your food to be serving up this slop. If you don’t have most of the key ingredients on hand, let the customer know that at the drive-thru so they can choose something you can actually make.
I normally reserve Google reviews for high praise but this has become a pattern and direct complaints have been futile, aside from a very stale cookie I was given last time this same thing happened.
Into the trash it goes, I’m not going back. Behold, the wrath of my hanger.
Food was great, the staff up front were not very friendly.
Clean fast and healthy
Low on stock.
Best Panera in the Upstate. From order to delivery, it was a wonderful experience. Most importantly, the management was AWESOME!
Very good all around. Family friendly
The tables were dirty. The soup bread bowls we got were cold, causing the soup to also be tepid. The hot water for the tea was lukewarm, and there weren't very many tea bag options. Kinda sad. Panera used to be so good. I'm not sure if I'll go back after today.
Easy to place the order in the Panera app. Order was ready when promised. Fast, friendly service at the drive thru. I ate here for breakfast today and was so impressed with everything I returned for lunch.
Ordered online and picked up a meal from rapid pick up. Got home, and the cookie was missing from bag, grilled cheese tasted like it had been microwaved, and soup tasted like spaghetti sauce. Very disappointed. Tried calling around 730pm but no one answered the phone

It's soup season! Panera has some of the best along with a nice variety!
I ordered a soup bowl and the bread was cold like it just came out of the refrigerator. While waiting for my order one of the ladies fixing the orders kept putting food in her mouth. Really wanted me to ask to change my order.
This is my Panera of choice in Spartanburg. Usually it is a great restaurant. And I want to clarify the employees are great! Today I sat in line for 30 minutes to pick up a salad ordered on the app. My order was ready at 12:36 and I did not make it to the window until 1:06. The manager needs to get their act together and hire enough people to service their customers. Today was a complete mess and I will not return. Shame on you, Manager!
