We went for my husband's birthday. The food was so good! The scallops were excellent. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. It was our first time dinning at The Peddler and certainly will not be our last.
While the service was excellent the steak was somewhat disappointing. The cut of meat was very thin and over cooked. The sides were good but wife’s salad was swimming in dressing. We do not plan to return.
Place was great last time we were there a couple years ago. Very disappointing this time. Wait staff was clearly new so understandable. Ordered artichoke appetizer. It was bland and served lukewarm. Ordered anchovies on the salad. Served without. When we inquired, they said they were all out of them. Baked potato was lukewarm. Fortunately, the Fillet and mahi-mahi were grilled properly.
