My husband and I ate at Pierre’s last evening. I had the delicious pan-seared wild caught salmon with a bourbon like glaze with peppers and carrots over hibachi rice. For my sides I chose the yummy southern style potato salad and perfectly breaded crispy okra. My husband had the whiting fried fish with Cole slaw and fries. It was yummy and it cooked perfectly. Nice portions, too. The wait staff were so very nice and attentive. We met Pierre as we were living and he was checking to be sure we had enjoyed our meal. We will definitely go back! 👌

Stopped by Pierre’s on a Wednesday and let me tell you — I hit the jackpot.

One of the Wednesday specials is airline chicken with mac and cheese, rice, and fried okra (I think you can choose other sides). Every bite was off-the-charts delicious. The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly, the mac was creamy and rich, the rice soaked up all the right flavors, and the fried okra? Crispy, golden perfection. It’s the kind of plate that makes you pause between bites just to say, “Man, this is good.”

And don’t pass on the drinks — the blueberry pomegranate tea was straight-up amazing. Sweet, refreshing, and totally addictive. I’d drive back just for another cup of that.

The portions? Generous enough to feed you twice. The people? Warm, welcoming, and genuinely good people to be around.

✅ The specials are a must-try
✅ Great portions and home-cooked flavor
✅ Blueberry pomegranate tea = chef’s kiss

-Worth a visit — even if you're miles away-

This isn’t just a good meal — it’s a soul-satisfying experience. Do yourself a favor and make Pierre’s your next stop. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your return.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I’ve always loved the food here—it’s consistently great, and the gospel music usually sets a peaceful, uplifting tone. That’s why I decided to stop in during a tough time, hoping the atmosphere would lift my spirits after a recent loss. Unfortunately, while trying to enjoy the moment, I overheard the owner and staff making comments about everything from my outfit to the car I drove. It was incredibly disheartening, especially in a space that promotes positivity and faith. We’ve supported this spot more than once, but this experience left me feeling more judged than fed. I truly hope this feedback leads to more mindfulness and kindness, because the food deserves better company.

The food here is GOOD!
We went here to try some soul food. I feel like greenville's soul food is not...that good. So if you want something that tastes like home, come here instead. I had the salmon w/rice and vegetables.

The salmon was cooked just how I like it with plenty of flavor. The sear on the onions and peppers is just how I would cook it. It had a little sauce on it too. The collard greens were decent. I liked the candied yams. They got baked and fried chicken which I also tried some of lol

The fried chicken is delicious so I'd recommend that also. The gravy on the rice for that meal taste like grandma made it! The staff was very attentive refilling drinks and engaging in conversation. The chef even came out to ask us if we liked the food. Overall I appreciated the vibe of this spot. Everyone makes you feel like you're at home.

Black owned. Great food. Great service. Great vibes. In addition to the regular menu items, they always have specials, dessert options, and even drink options(for example blueberry tea). Their lemonade is so good. If you haven’t already, stop in and see for yourself.

I have eaten lunch here twice. The food is awesome! The service is friendly and helpful. If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing out! Make sure you take home a dessert! You won’t have room after your meal. The Sweet Potato Honey Bun is heavenly!!

We door dashed dinner for two. The food arrived hot but that’s where the compliments stop. The food tasted like old grease, the rice was instant and the collard greens had a foul taste. We threw out most of the meal. $30 in the trash.

This is the best soul food I’ve had in a long time. It literally taste like your grandma is cooking in the back of their chicken. My favorite was the pastor P wings my apologies for not having a photo lol 😂 the food was that good. I also enjoyed the Mac and cheese which was perfect . I can’t wait to return for more .

We tried the baked chicken and chicken masala on the special menu. Both well-seasoned, juicy and tender. The sides are great too. Generous portion and flavorful. Sweet-tooth me enjoyed the banana pudding :)
