While visiting Spartanburg for one day, we dropped in here for an early dinner. Enjoyed the turkey wings, pork chops, chicken party wings, yams, mac n cheese and green beans. Everything was delicious! The banana pudding was good too. Nice ambience inside as well. And all at a very good price. Nice to know there's a good spot whenever I'm back here again.

Had a to go plate from Pierre’s brought to my work and man was it incredible! The fried chicken had incredible flavor, the steak bites were cooked perfect, juicy, and flavorful and the mac and cheese and green beans were delicious!
I can’t wait to be a diner in the restaurant and have more of Pierre’s cooking and try his desserts!

The food reminded me of this lot I would go to for would food in Atlanta when I was home sick. I was so pleased with my choice. I wanted the ribs but they were sold out. Imma try to catch those the the roast. I heard it’s great. 😝❤️🔥🍽️

The food was tasty, but the experience was chaotic. Many main dishes were sold out (oxtails, mac and cheese, yams, even fish), yet customers weren’t told until after being seated. Service felt disorganized—orders overlooked, requests forgotten, and basic items like straws and utensils ran out. Even got just the crumbs of sweet potatoes instead of a full portion. The bar seating was uncomfortable, too. Good flavors, but the lack of preparation and attention really took away from the meal. And it took 10 minutes for them to close me out after asking twice I’ll make sure I call in before going or go very early and hopefully next experience will b better . Not sure if it’s a staff , but front cashier was definitely overwhelmed
My husband and I ate at Pierre’s last evening. I had the delicious pan-seared wild caught salmon with a bourbon like glaze with peppers and carrots over hibachi rice. For my sides I chose the yummy southern style potato salad and perfectly breaded crispy okra. My husband had the whiting fried fish with Cole slaw and fries. It was yummy and it cooked perfectly. Nice portions, too. The wait staff were so very nice and attentive. We met Pierre as we were living and he was checking to be sure we had enjoyed our meal. We will definitely go back! 👌

Stopped by Pierre’s on a Wednesday and let me tell you — I hit the jackpot.
One of the Wednesday specials is airline chicken with mac and cheese, rice, and fried okra (I think you can choose other sides). Every bite was off-the-charts delicious. The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly, the mac was creamy and rich, the rice soaked up all the right flavors, and the fried okra? Crispy, golden perfection. It’s the kind of plate that makes you pause between bites just to say, “Man, this is good.”
And don’t pass on the drinks — the blueberry pomegranate tea was straight-up amazing. Sweet, refreshing, and totally addictive. I’d drive back just for another cup of that.
The portions? Generous enough to feed you twice. The people? Warm, welcoming, and genuinely good people to be around.

I’ve always loved the food here—it’s consistently great, and the gospel music usually sets a peaceful, uplifting tone. That’s why I decided to stop in during a tough time, hoping the atmosphere would lift my spirits after a recent loss.
Unfortunately, while trying to enjoy the moment, I overheard the owner and staff making comments about everything from my outfit to the car I drove. It was incredibly disheartening, especially in a space that promotes positivity and faith.
We’ve supported this spot more than once, but this experience left me feeling more judged than fed. I truly hope this feedback leads to more mindfulness and kindness, because the food deserves better company.
