Tried Pizza Inn in Spartanburg for the first time after getting a coupon—good food, super friendly staff, and a clean, family-friendly space. They make their own dough too! We’ll definitely be back!

The Pizza Inn on Ashville Hwy has always had the best pizza and salad bar. I hadn't been in years until my recent visit. Same delicious food with the addition of different flavors and service was great!!

While at the salad bar I heard something drop in the kitchen area. I looked and observed that while a man was trying to get some pizza pans one pan had fallen to the floor. I then seen him pick up the pan, place it atop the stack he had picked up, and proceed to his work area.
A few minutes afterwards I called him over and addressed what I had seen. He stated that he took all the pans to the washroom, and that he had several years experience in food service and knew what he was doing. I then asked him if he realized how he allowed the situation to appear? Again he insisted that he took all the pans to the washroom. However, it's odd that he didn't collect more pans.
I later learned that he's a manager named Mike. After learning that I became appalled that he would be so careless in view of the customers. Whether he took the pans to the washroom or not is irrelevant. It's the way that he handled them, which was very unsanitary. He should have returned the clean pans to the rack while he took the dropped pan to washroom. Instead, he permitted the appearance that he used a dirty pan to make pizza.
In food service it's all about cleanliness and sanitation. And in an open kitchen area such as there's everyone must be mindful of ther actions to enable the customers to feel that their food is being prepared in a sanitary manner. Mike, the MANAGER, failed to do that. And if he's not mindful of proper sanitation, then, as a manager, he's not ensuring that the kitchen staff is being mindful either.
I will not be visiting this establishment again.

Pizza Inn hasn't changed in decades. Still a great buffet value. They'll make whatever pizza you want too. The desert pizzas are amazing.

GREAT SERVICE! Allie and Debbie really takes care of me every time!
Last night my family and I decided to have dinner here to celebrate a birthday. Some of the wait staff were very unpleasant and rude especially the cashier, the tables and chair’s were very dirty, the pizza was old and hard. It had been a very long time since I last ate there and I’m sure I’ll never go back now.

my waitress was friendly but when I started to eat she keep circling my table every 5min to ask me if I need more tea . then I was on my 2nd plate of salad ? she asked me if I was going to eat any pizza it was an odd Question when I was finished . I had an pizza buffet coupon she wasn't going to except my pizza inn coupon it was for a buffet & drink but the coupon said $12.99 my total was like $16.49 . but I will not return to the Ashville Hwy location very bad service . but the other location in Spartanburg is much friendly . from a military veteran . 864-398-0492
