Prime Restaurant and Whiskey Lounge

It was slow when we went... but I hear on the weekends it is busy. Everyone was nice and the food was great! The waitress was new.. but she still did a pretty good job. It's not overly fancy, but it was clean and still had a kind of rustic atmosphere to it. I like that it's on the second floor... It just gives it that little something extra. After reading the mixed reviews, we decided to try this restaurant tonight for hubby’s birthday. The service was good, our waiter was new, but pleasant and making a great effort. Overall, the food tasted good and was presented well. Salad bar had some brown lettuce, but other items were good. The rolls were hot and fresh, but we could have done without the salt on top. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I'm not sure where these other reviews are coming from. I will say I'm shocked at how slow it was for a Saturday at 6pm the weekend before valentines. I got the pork chop with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and my boyfriend got the filet with mac and cheese and a baked potato and it was delicious. I can't complain about a single thing!
