Went with friends after church. It was great! Started out with amazing miso soup. I ordered avocado cucumber and fried sweet potato rolls. Both were great. Service was nice. Will be back.

We've been looking for a good Shusi/Habachi place for awhile, the habachi was really good and the one sushi roll we ordered was also yummy. The only real downside was the air conditioner wasn't working BUT they did put a sign on the door and were telling everyone who came in so presumably they are working on fixing that. We will come back to try more of their sushi options at a later date.

Have been coming here for years now. Good east side spot for sushi/teppanyaki and other Japanese appetizers. They have more uncommon fishes on the specials board. The Ramen is the hidden gem, however. Staff are a very friendly group. Happy to have this place on the east side!

The hibachi and specialty sushi rolls were very delicious! I enjoyed the california roll with the side of wasabi mayo so much I went back the next to order it again lol. During both visits the lovely ladies taking my order notified me of the special savings I overlooked; I appreciated their care to save me a few dollars. Only con is the restaurant is a bit hard spot, the advertising leaves more to be desired.

We came in to put a to go order,
I asked who was taking our to go order if I could have a salmon roll with seaweed wrap only and no rice. He asked the sushi chef and chef communicated to me saying it wouldn’t be able to work that way. We figured out something that would work for me and not only that, but the sushi chef went out of his way to give me an extra roll. It was so kind of him and I won’t forget him! We’ll definitely keep coming to this place for sushi as we have for the past year. Thank you to all the workers!

great low key place to have sushi. The sushi and the bento boxes and the hibachi are all top notch. Get the traditional ginger dressing on the house salad. Miso soup is merely ok.

I went with my girlfriend and we both ordered two rolls of sushi. I thought both the food and service were good; however, everything changed when it came time to pay the bill. Our bill came to a total of $47, and I left a 20% tip. My girlfriend decided to give me a $20 bill to pay her portion. I put my credit card and the $20 bill in the pocket of the checkbook, sticking out so both were clearly visible. I made sure the $20 bill was both secured and in front of the card. The waitress came back with my card and I paid the bill and left. Then, once I sat down in my vehicle, I received the notification for the full $47 charge rather than the $27 that was expected. I then removed myself from my vehicle and went back inside the restaurant to discuss the matter. The waitress proceeded to gaslight my partner and I, stating that there was never a $20 bill and only the card. She then started moving tables and looking around as if it had fallen on the ground. Mind you, I ensured the bill was tightly secured along with my card inside the check book. The supervisor/manager came out to speak to me, and he was very kind and respectful. He truly wanted to help me solve this problem and was actively seeking a solution. He went back and forth on the phone with his manager to determine what to do. After checking the camera footage and showing it to me, he said he could not visibly see a $20 bill, but that he believed me and wanted to help refund me. He was going to call his manager and take the steps to providing me with a full refund, but then swiftly returned with my $20 bill in hand. I thanked him and left the restaurant. I believe the waitress finally gave in and gave him the money that she stole. I know with certainty that the $20 bill only could have left that check book if it was purposefully removed by hand. Bottom line - someone took the money out and acted like they didn’t. Nonetheless, I must give kudos to the supervisor. He was not involved in any way with the initial situation, but he helped us find a solution in the end. I’m sorry to say we had a very poor experience our first time at Sake.

Do not come here - sneaky waitress!
This was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The bill for 4 sushi rolls was $47 and we paid with a 20 dollar bill and a credit card. I was splitting bill with my boyfriend. The waitress took it. As we were leaving. His Amex was charged the entire 47. Me being confrontational, go back in and ask the same waitress “hey I’m so sorry, but my boyfriend was charged the full 47 but we paid with a 20 dollar bill too” (btw we tipped too). The waitress tried to convince us that she didn’t see the 20 dollar bill, then proceeded to get the manager to check the booth and so on. She lies over again saying she never saw the bill, walking back and forth from kitchen to lobby. We stood our ground, but she still told the manager she never saw the money. She tried to gaslight saying there was never any money. Look girl, if you need money that bad, I would give it to you but I work hard for my 20 and for her to say she never saw a 20 is atrocious. We FINALLY get the money back because the manager is apologizing. Whether or not she ended up confessing, we don’t know. He even checked cameras but there were none that had footage of our waitress. Enough said. We will not be back. :)
