Great value for the money but they put to much oil on the sandwich.

Went in at about 8:45, they close at 9:00. Only wanted 2 steak and cheese 6 inch subs. They was rude and laughing the entire time. Didn’t ask me what cheese I wanted so I told the girl I would like provolone. Didn’t ask my bf what kind of cheese he wanted either. Didn’t ask toasted or not toasted , but they did put them into the microwave. I get to the car and My cheese is Swiss. Not provolone. It isn’t even melted and the sub is cold.
I normally love this place. This was a disappointment. ☹️

I went to pick up my order I placed online. Very simple order too. I got there and had to wait for my order to be made. (No big deal I understand that) They handed me a bag that wasn’t mine. It had a totally different name in the recipe. Only had one sandwich in it. (Ordered 2). So they finally gave me a second sandwich. Then I reminded them that the name on the receipt was wrong. They handed me My receipt and said there’s 2 sandwiches in there. Took it to my car and nothing was right on my order. So we walked walked back in and handed them the receipt and showed them the sandwich. They all stood there clueless. When they were attempting to remake the sandwich they had no idea what was on the sandwich(it states everything thing on the recipe that was handed back to them) still ended up messing one of the sandwich’s up.
It's definitely one of the ghetto substations. Usually, I have a pretty good experience here but this last time was a mess. The place was filled with teenagers working who barely knew how to talk at a level where someone other than themselves could hear them. Placed an online order and when I came to pick it up they were practically out of everything including the chips, and cookies that I ordered. When I got my sandwich it was made wrong and the manager on staff who has no customer service manor at all was absolutely no help in fixing the matter.

A chef salad was ordered, and specifically asked for salad dressing. Upon returning home there was absolutely No Dressing at all. Also extra pickles were ordered, charged but not provided.
Since it was 8 pm at night they expected me to get redressed to come pick up what was missing. I explained I felt I shouldn’t need to get redressed to get what I ordered. The order was around $36.
Manager was disrespectful stating she saw the pickles being bagged up, but had no answer how come now dressing.
Do not order a chef salad as I saw only 1 piece of ham and turkey. And a slice of cheese.
No one took my name or even cared especially when I asked that night manager how would you feel if this happened to you.
Tomorrow I will be bring back their chopped lettuce and lack of meat back to her manager to see if she would be willing to make a decision of common sense.
Yes, usually do check bag but was in a hurry.
Rude staff members at this location! I had not had Substation in a while and heard that the Asheville Hwy location closed. I decided to try this one. I ordered two sandwiches. I was asked if I want it whole and what bread. I said yes and told what bread. I get to the toppings and the lady asked what I wanted I told her I wanted everything except peppers and that the two sandwiches would have the same toppings to make it easy for her. The lady snaps and says so all the way? I said yes. I don't know what part of I want everything expect peppers was not understood. I paid for the two whole sandwiches. The young lady asks you want mayo and mustard? Duh…you just snapped at me about all the way so if that's all the way that's what I want. I proceed to pay and my food is handed to me. I notice I have half sandwiches but I paid for whole. The cashier informed the lady who started my order she snaps and says I said regular. They ask if you want pickles and peppers at the end. I asked if it is included. They said yes, I said pickles the cashier repeated that I want pickles. I still got pickles and peppers. If I was allergic to peppers that would've been real bad. They threw them both in the same bag. The cashier was great and tried to make it right. She is the only reason I gave two stars, at this point I just asked for a refund of the difference. There is no sense in them redoing my sandwiches and giving me more attitude in the process bc they could not LISTEN or politely confirm with me to get it right the first time and I didn't want to delay others in line. Kudos to the cashier. She was the only one I directly dealt with that had common sense on how to treat people and displayed obvious customer service experience.

They don’t follow instructions on how you request your sandwich to be made. Then they give you major attitude when request your food to be made how you like it. Definitely don’t order through DoorDash bc they will not follow anything you request or if you do as for vinegar or spicy mustard they will give way to much to funny. The best location on Ashville Hwy closed. They were professional and friendly. The other location on East Main Street is now the only professional and friendly spot. They also open when they should and close at the right time like they should unlike this location. We have came there at 6 or 6:30pm and they put the close sign up and lock doors right in our face without no explanation. Very unprofessional, not friendly and poor service location.
