It's been a few years since I've been to Taste of Thai as I no longer work in the area- I love the food and the people that work there- thanks for lunch it was fabulous!

It’s hard to top the superior Thai food I’ve experienced in California and other places. With that said, Taste of Thai in Spartanburg, SC is definitely pretty decent Thai food. The setting needs a little work; the vinyl table cloths are outdated and the walls need some fresh paint, but still the food is good. I think I would get take out next time, and take it home.

Great place for lunch. I had the number 24, Pad Prik Sod with the salad for the lunch special. The salad was certainly lacking. It was basically lettuce.The egg roll was decent. Just the wrapping with lettuce and fried, the egg roll was very hot to the touch so be careful.The Pad Prik was really delicious.The entire lunch special was around $17 (not including tip).Would I return? Certainly!

Atmosphere is great! We have been here four times. Food usually good with no complaints. Service is always wonderful. Ginger salad is tasty. This last time our meals were heavy on sweetness and lacked flavors. Maybe, a new cook? Needed more spice, garlic, lime and basil. Curry was a bit watery with lack of depth and we always prefer fresh veggies over frozen.

Came here during posted open hours for lunch only to see a sign on the door saying closed for lunch. Be aware if planning to go here that this might happen to you too.
The service was great but the food wasn't. The flavor profiles were good but the noodles and rice were badly overcooked. The rice was mushy and the noodles were slimy.

I tried their food for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised as I had decided to not try new restaurants after a fiasco two weeks ago of food poisoning. Luckily this place makes me HAPPY!This place has wonderful ambiance: quiet, clean and smells great. The food was fresh which is big to me as a sensitive eater. I was very happy with my meal and I am glad I discovered them today.Next time I'm in town I will stop by for a fresh meal of TOFU PAD THAI AND SPRING ROLLS along with Tom kha.+ some disclosure as I had not read any reviews so if you do read mine just know I am a stranger that stopped for a meal after a super busy day. I wasn't expecting much but I received a smile on my face due to tasty food and a good experience which is rare for me.Vegetarian options: I had tofu pad thai and I loved the crispness of the tofu. It was soooo good.
