I had a wonderful experience today at Tea Star after my morning walk! Had driven by a few times and finally took the time to walk in and order some Tom Kha and a shrimp wonton appetizer. Everything was so fresh and delicious including my boba tea. Please stop by ASAP!

Stopped in here for the first time the other day because I promised my son Thai food during his visit and the place we usually go was unexpectedly closed. Truth be told, I was in a pretty foul mood by the time we got here because the holiday traffic was annoying and this restaurant is on the complete opposite side of town, but damn if it wasn’t worth all that hassle and then some. The food here is absolutely fabulous - everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious and obviously prepared with great care. In fact, it was so good that I even forgot to take any pictures and that almost never happens (yes, I’m that annoying person with 47000 pictures of random food items on her phone). Service was excellent. The lovely chef/owner even came out to our table to ask how our food was and she was so friendly and kind - and interesting! I learned a few new things about the cuisine and some distinct regional differences. ?They have an awesome selection of delicious teas of varying types, a pretty full bar, wine, and several beers on tap and in bottles - (and they fortuitously still had Octoberfest on tap which is my absolute favorite and nearly impossible to find this late in the year). The restaurant itself is very nice inside, clean and comfortable, welcoming - and they have an adorable patio outside for those days when the weather is agreeable. Close to the rail trail too if you want to walk off all the food you’ve eaten. Definitely going to add this restaurant to my regular rotation - highly recommend!

Had the garlic lover with chicken. Absolutely delicious. Everything the rest of my party ordered looked amazing. I did try my kids sweet and sour dish. Amazing as well. I look forward to trying more dishes on my next visit!

Amazing! Super fresh everything, you can smell how fresh the veggies are. Staff is super friendly, drinks are good, and the atmosphere is fancy but not snobby. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town.

Do you have a cold? I have the best medicine: Northwest Noodle Soup from Tea Star. Sure, it's better to make homemade soup, but when you can't because you're the cook in the house and you're the one who is sick, you need this soup. I have been eating it on repeat since coming down with that cold going around the Burg and this soup is LITERALLY saving my life. It's spicy, full of good proteins and noodles, and supremely comforting and tasty. I hate being sick but it's worth it to have discovered this amazing soup. It's perfection in a quart container.
