My sisters, nephew, and I were downtown Spartanburg during St Patrick's Day and were hungry. The Kennedy was kind enough to allow us in, even without a reservation. The cuisine was not in my range of delectable satisfaction but would have been if I were raised to eat well. I seldom have steak or fish. If I had ordered it here, I'm sure I would have loved it. I recommend The Kennedy for the casual to well-dressed man and family who like a fine dining experience.

The Kennedy is very lucky to have you.We are new to the area as we recently moved from Miami and one of our favorite things to do is try out new restaurants.So glad we found The Kennedy. The food was delicious, the service was EXCELLENT, and our overall experience is the kind that makes you want to write a review and tell everyone about.This will definitely be a go-to spot on the list for us and I highly recommend you try it.We had the bruschetta for appetizer, my husband had the shrimp & grits, and I had the steak frites with parm fries. Then we finished off with one of the best creme brulee's I have ever had.Go treat yourself. You deserve it. The Kennedy is the place for that. Especially if Jared is there. He's like the cherry on top!

The meat was tough. The chimichurri does not taste like it. The ‘garlic’ alioli does not taste to garlic!! From a person who grew up esting good meet and original chimichurri is too price for the quality!

Exquisite experience, came in for some drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer took a while to arrive, but they were generous to exclude it from the check. So they really care about their dining in experience. Service was amazing. Definitely 100% recommend.

My friend and I tried to take our two daughters for lunch at 1pm on 2-18. It was not very busy and it seemed to be a great choice. However the hostess said “ they had no table for us”. It was very disappointing, especially since we weren’t even given an option to wait.

Interesting place. Food is good. Not really sure I’d call it “upscale” as it is comparable to your average dine in chain restaurant but with slightly above average food. It’s really the about the best you can get considering it is South Carolina….

This restaurant is a must when in Spartanburg!!! Outstanding food, excellent service, and all around a great vibe. Erin was our server and she was AMAZING! We will certainly be requesting her when we return, and we will absolutely be dining again. Like I said, this place is a MUST!

The Kennedy is an amazing hidden gem! This was our third time, traveling from out of town, to enjoy this delicious food! All three times we’ve brought a different couple with us. All have or will return!
We had the Octopus appetizer which was burnt in many places. Also had catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi. It was so SALTY my wife couldn't eat it. They remade the Mahi and didn't add a single seasoning to it. My pork sandwich was SALTY and barely edible. The waitress was amazing and atmosphere was nice. There's potential here, but I wouldn't go back.
