My wife and I dropped in for the Oakland House's Winter Solstice dinner on Thursday night. We somehow got on their e-mailing list and had received notices about these events every so often. Thursday we decided to go. The house is lovely and filled with many interesting items. Although we had never met anyone there and had no idea what to expect, we were welcomed by Larry and Katie as long-time friends.
