Absolutely wonderful meal! We were celebrating our anniversary and loved the atmosphere with local art on display. The mussels were the best I have had in years ( I am picky!), the Brussels sprouts a healthy portion and yummy, the fish of the day (snapper) was great and chocolate decadent cake just wonderful. We will be back!

We were very pleased without our dinner experience at The Tulip Tree! The restaurant was basically sold out for a company Xmas company gathering, and they used a room for regular reservations. The service was exceptional! And we witnessed a number of servers working seamlessly to give everyone first-rate service. While the restaurant was packed, we were treated like we were the only patrons. And, the food was excellent!

Surprisingly cozy decor with unique artwork, excellent service and fantastic food. This was our first time eating there and we were very pleased. The mussels appetizer was delicious with very generous portions. They highly recommended the red blend wine. It was one of the best I've had in quite some time. Dinners were very good. Will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

Delicious Food and great atmosphere. The She Crab Soup was the best I have ever had. The cheesecake tasted like we were in New York City, eating at Carnegie's Deli. Will definitely come again!
Great first experience! Having dinner in a museum is definitely fun. Sam, our waitress, was outstanding! As for the food, it was good but a little on the salty side. We had the Black Lip Mussels and Hen House eggs for Sharables. I enjoyed the grilled pork chop with asparagus and glazed carrots. My date enjoyed the crabcakes. The Ketel One martini was on point... All in all it was a great evening.

It is a gem of a restaurant in Spartanburg. As always, it did not disappoint. The cocktails are so delightfully tasty and pretty. Dinner was delicious and the presentation of the food is outstanding!

The "Food" oh my goodness it was wonderful! Probably in my top 10 for food and atmosphere in Spartanburg County. We started with the fried devil eggs ? and omg!! I would eat 20 of them....I had the Trout on top of squash casserole and my wife had the Crab Cakes. ? All of the food was wonderful, but this is a $$$.$$ dollar place. One of the things that took us there was there supposedly exquisite adult beverages, not the cas. If I pay $15 Dollars for a drink I want the fruit the umbrella and all, not something that I can make at home. " only complaint ". Staff was superb, taking plates away when done, getting drinks, etc. The atmosphere was awesome with all the local artists exhibits throughout the restaurant. Clothing was semi casual to street.My No. 6 place in the burg!!
Ate here again first Friday of September 2023. I didn’t know they had been closed for 3+ months dealing with a significant plumbing issue. But they are definitely back!Think elevated Southern. I had the Low Down Brussels appetizer, shared the Crab Cakes & Shrimp & Grits with a friend, and had the Smokey Manhattan as my cocktail.All of it was amazing! My only problem eating here is my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. Wonderful attention from our server and management. Can’t wait to come back!
