Man this has to be one of the best spots ! I always seen it but never thought about trying it. Today I decided to stop by I was greeted with such genuine vibe. Within 20 mins being here I had a coustomer buy me a drink. This will definitely not be my only first time here. I hope nothing but good for this business. Such a must try.

Great little hole in the wall. Nice atmosphere. The bartender was awesome (sorry hon) didn't catch your name. Made an excellent old fashion. My friend got the mermaid. It was karaoke night. Great DJ. Started to get crowded around 11. Met some great people. Will definitely be back.

came in. sat at the bar. bartender immediately noticed me and serviced. I guess it wasn't hard since I was the youngest one in the crowd. perfect dive bar. everyone doing there own thing while having a good time. I just passed thru and just so happen to come across it. beer is cold and food is exactly what you want even if you ask if it's good or not trust the opinion of the bartender. Good prices, karaoke. They still let ya smoke inside cos its outside city limit which is a city ordinance, so you'll go home smelling like smoke just like the good ol' days. Ha!They have small menu of food, but mostly frozen for when you get drunk and don't care. One thing they had was boiled egg for a buck and if you get that you must be inebriated cos you can get a dozen raw eggs for almost same price at a grocery. They got karaoke tho. I love karaoke.Edit: eggs are a bit more expensive and they do not let you smoke inside anymore.

Food is good drinks are reasonably priced. Staff is nice. It's not a place to go for karaoke. They play one karaoke song every 45 minutes and the rest of the time, The guy is either outside smoking or playing music or playing on his phone. Our group put in songs and after 2 hours there were only 2 singers called up. 1 from our group and 1 from the crowd. We left.

Always a cheerful place filled with friendly people, drinks are cold, food has always been exactly what you would expect from a small corner bar hidden at the edge of a big city, we pop in for a beer and a bite every couple months. Only downsides, it's small and you always know you've left a smoking establishment, but that doesnt stop us from going!!

The %Tavern The BEST IVE EVER KNOWN... A far as the veteran and the service dog issue... I'm sure there is a logical explanation... There just has got too be... Mel is very kind and very understanding... I just know there is more to this issue... Please look at the positive... Mel LOVES EVERYONE NO MATTER WHAT!

I came for karaoke. The DJ was late starting by 45 min, they didn't have the kind of beer I drink, they smoke inside so for nonsmokers you will leave smelling like an ashtray, their food selection is deplorable, and the building is extremely small. That being said the staff was very nice.
