Republic Ice Cream

It’s a nice place but somebody must’ve messed up the ice cream. Multiple flavors had texture as if there was sand mixed in. It was dry and very grainy in our mouths and I couldn’t eat more than a couple bites before throwing my whole cup away. I kept expecting there to be flavor but each bite was worse than the last. Very bummed especially considering it was 6$ for two scoops. I’ve never thrown ice cream away in my life. Seems like nice people run it but don’t serve it if it doesn’t turn out!

Small town ice cream shop in a charming old house. They had several different flavors outside the norm. It struck me as odd when ordering and the young man’s response was “You’d better try it first” and gave us samples. Both the Banana pudding and the Raspberry both did taste odd. We ended up with Triple Berry, Chocolate and Mint Chocolate Chip and they were all good. Sorry no ice cream pics.

Lovely ice cream shop close to the beach at Sullivans Island. Ice cream was delicious, definitely recommend the key lime flavor! It was pretty expensive $21 for two ice cream cones… It was convenient and easily accessible! Nice place if you are nearby!

We were visiting from out of town for the week and made multiple stops here. I love ice cream (it's kind of a problem 😅) and this place is top tier. They have house made waffle cones that are so good it almost made me mad.

Perfect stop after a day at the beach. We got delicious ice cream two nights in a row here. Friendly and super fast service! Can’t wait to be back next summer!

Find the ice cream shop on Sullivans. They have a downtown location as well but I’ve never been because Sullivan’s better anyway I walked in. She was making fresh waffle cones and just smelled so good ice cream is delicious and people are nice and I guess said the smells are amazing. It’s not cheapest but the quality more than makes up for it I would recommend this place to anybody that wants to get ice cream. That’s always OK.!!!!

Grocery store ice cream. Nothing special. Big scoops but Don’t waste your time or your money. Butter Pecan had a bad off taste. Don’t go. Gross. They attract you with the cute design but the ice cream is bad.

They have real ice cream here. It’s very delicious. We decided to get milkshakes which were handmade and took just a couple of minutes. The staff is very friendly. .

Literally the worst ice cream I’ve ever had. I sampled the “peppermint chocolate chip” (which is literally just mint chocolate ice cream rebranded for winter) and it wasn’t that good, so my sister and I decided to play it safe with cookies and cream. You would THINK it didn’t need to be sampled, because it’s always good- but don’t be a fool like me.
I didn’t think the cream portion needed to be specified, but it probably should be as it tastes like cookies and SOUR cream. Both of our stomachs feel hard as a rock- we sorely regret paying $14+ for 2 tiny bowls of freezer burnt sour cream with pieces of Oreo.
Sure, the lady working was polite enough, but she came in from outside and didn’t wash her hands 😩.

Not a bad trip after our walk to Sullivan’s Island. The waffle cone was great and the ice cream was good but nothing special. The woman behind the counter was polite but was not interested in helping out to much during a slow time. I would go back, but it’s because I love ice cream, not the shop itself.
