Wow! We had an amazing experience at Longboards. We showed up on a snow day and had top tier service! We had their amazing happy hour deal they do on weekdays from 11am-5pm. Oysters were the best on the island. Recommend the Grilled oyster's! and their drinks are top 5 in the Charleston area. Get the false horizon! Ask for Caroline to be your server!

I had the fried rice breakfast bowl, the pork was so hard it hurt my teeth to try and chew it. The bartender seemed short staffed as the service was very slow. When I inquired about the bowl, they only took 50% off. Definitely not coming for breakfast again.

It was okay. Poke bowl was great, flatbread was great, Octopus was very overcooked and there was only one piece, half of the tentacle was burned. Not worth 30 dollars. Friendly service.
Chicken pad Thai, grilled salmon and the frozen painkiller was all so yummy!

Ordered charred salad, and chicken skewers. The salad was clearly wilted from char…. Dill dressing was off? And best part was the bacon on the salad. I had chicken skewers, okay??? But between me and my guest, ordered grilled salmon, and theee Tostito orderve. Basically my friend ate my salad. I couldn’t, and two mini skewers of chicken bites, we paid $106.00 plus adding tip,…. And I left hungry. ??? 2 hour wait? First time experience. The best part was the Christmas decorations and the teal blue plates. All else took too long and no checking to see if food was okay? A place to beverages, yes. Food? No. Fill up before visiting. Two hour drive to come here. Two hour wait. Two hour drive back. Not sure I could recommend this place for food. They need to serve bread, something. Paid way too much… left hungry.
Epic. Simply epic. Just go. Trust me just go.

an amazing dining experience at The Longboard! From start to finish, everything was perfect. My waitress, Mel, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She recommended a fantastic drink that paired beautifully with my meal, and her suggestion for dessert was spot on.
The 12oz steak I ordered was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The dessert was equally delightful and the perfect way to end the meal.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is just as impressive as the food. The decor is stylish and welcoming, creating a beautiful and relaxing setting for a great evening out.
Overall, my experience at The Longboard was awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food, great service, and a beautiful dining environment. Mel deserves special recognition for making the night even more memorable! Can’t wait to visit again.

The true star is the shrimp roll: perfectly tender shrimp, milky-soft and crunchy bread, and fries fried to perfection. Their baked oysters are a standout too—fresh, flavorful, and utterly indulgent—while the raw ones are equally delightful. The tuna poke balances tenderness with a hint of saltiness, packing a flavorful punch.
While portions lean on the smaller side the quality more than compensates—each dish feels like a nugget of culinary gold. The food was so good we couldn’t resist a second round of baked oysters and even added a taco to the mix. For top-tier flavors and meticulous quality, The Longboard is a must-visit.

The Longboard has become such a staple in my restaurant rotation here in the Charleston area. The staff is friendly and attentive, the menu is expertly curated, and the space feels like you've been transported to a tropical island. I especially love when they decorate for the holiday season. Longboard is a must-go for anyone visiting the area — make sure to try the Wadama-Law-Breaker frozen cocktail!!

Fantastic food, drinks, service and atmosphere….highly, highly recommend! Chef Delaney’s recommendation of the scallops was spot on and all the food was very delicious! Drinks, as well, were a 10 out of 10 recommend! You will not be disappointed and don’t forget to save room for the cookie skillet w/housemade marshmallow ice cream….😋
