Great spot to have dinner and drinks with friends. They have small plates to share if that's your thing or larger dinner portions. Food was excellent.

We had a great experience at The Longboard. The ambience was vibrant and welcoming, and the drinks were top-notch — definitely a spot worth checking out for the atmosphere alone. The appetizers were the clear highlight of the meal. The raw oysters were incredibly fresh and paired perfectly with their house-made hot sauce. The baked oysters were even better — rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. We also enjoyed the street corn salad, which added a nice, bright contrast. As for the entrées, they were decent but didn't quite reach the same level as the starters. The octopus was a bit on the tough side, the mussels were flavorful but overly salty, and the salad could've used more dressing to bring it together. Overall, The Longboard shines when it comes to ambience, drinks, and starters. We'd definitely come back — next time we'll probably lean heavier on the apps and cocktails.

Love this restaurant. It’s beautiful inside, and the food & service were great.

We stopped by The Longboard Sullivan’s last minute after spending the day at the beach. The restaurant itself has a nice beachy vibe and the decor fits the island setting well.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations especially for the price. I had the salmon poke bowl, which was okay but nothing special. My friend got the grilled salmon, and it was just average as well.

The biggest disappointment was the shrimp cocktail, honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had. The shrimp didn’t taste fresh at all, which was surprising considering we were dining on an island. I think even store-bought shrimp cocktail from a grocery store would’ve tasted better.

Since we were walk-in guests near closing time, the experience also felt a bit rushed, which didn’t help. Overall, great ambiance but the food needs improvement especially at that price point.

Julie was our server and she was helpful and very friendly! Best service we’ve had in the Charleston area and the oysters were fabulous!

Put allergens (sunflower seeds) on top of my dinner, while saying it was free of such. Charged 3.00 for club soda and for my refill. Tap water with bubbles.

What a fun place, and everyone seems to agree! Make sure to get a reservation because not an empty table or bar seat in the entire restaurant. Will be back! Thank you

We booked a 5:15pm reservation, specifying 3 children and one very young toddler. We had to wait for our table, the food did not arrive at the table until 645, this was after i asked the kitchen to please hurry up as we had a toddler who was about to melt down. The crab salad had mostly rice, scant crab and did not follow the menu. The ribs were fabulous as were the dips. We were hoping for a relaxing dinner, with the children happy and fed. Instead, we ended up with cranky hungry children. We have eaten here in excess of 10 times, this is the first time we have had anything less than a stellar experience.

We have eaten here before this visit and loved it. We had a reservation but we weren't seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time. Once we'd were seated, our server took some time to recognize that we were seated. When we did order, they were out of 3 of their menu items that we were interested in ordering. The food we had was delicious. The music was very loud inside the restaurant.

We went with a family to celebrate 4th of July and truly enjoyed our dinner. Very nice atmosphere and beautiful, well-thought interior design. Our cocktails and food were delicious and our server was super sweet and professional. We will go back 100%.

Service wasn't great. Food was not very good - tuna was on top of very sweet cous cous. Sushi shrimp wrap was literally a quarter of a piece of shrimp and all rice.

Blake was awesome and helped us with recommendations! We had the tuna and sushi wraps and Ceviche! Outstanding!! 🙌🤩
