We went when they first opened a few years ago. We don’t go out often. So it took us almost 4 years to go back. We are so glad we did. Finally found a place we enjoy without driving to Charleston. We had the charred cabbage which was absolutely incredible, mussels, octopus and chicken katsu. The katsu was fried perfectly and accompanied by a sweet pepper jam (I think) and fine spicy Kim chi for an incredible, perfect bite.

Based on a friend’s recommendation, we decided to venture beyond our usual dinner spots and head to Summerville to try Bexley’s.

We are always spoiled when we dine here. We had the surfboard...delicious. I loved the trout dip and crispy rice tuna bites so much that I asked for appetizer portions and the chef MADE custom portions just for me! Our tuna crudo and tomato salad were wonderful.
