Carolima's Lowcountry Cuisine

We used Carolima catering for our family reunion. It was easy to work with the team to fine tune our menu. They were extremely efficient and diligent in providing various options and pricing and suggestions.

We ordered fried chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, greens, baked beans, Mac and cheese, and peach cobbler.

They confirmed the menu and count in advance. And they were extremely prompt on delivery and setup.

Everything was perfect and extremely delicious.

Last week twenty five members of the Kiawah Island Naturalist Group were treated to an exceptional 5 hour Gullah Geechee food tour, led by Sameka Jenkins from Carolima's Lowcountry. She introduced us to restaurants we would never have found on our own, and to their owners. Great food, and even better stories!

Carolima's catered a banquet at the Aquarium for a scientific meeting I helped organize. It was my first time working with a caterer for an event that size. They were super easy to work with through several iterations of the menu, had food offerings for those with special diets, coordinated rental of tables, chairs, and tableware, and were competitively priced. Best of all, the food was delicious, and the event went off without a hitch! Guests from around the world loved the Gullah Geechie cuisine. Definitely save room for the Charleston Chewies!

Carolima’s is hands down the BEST catering company in South Carolina Low Country. They catered a Naval promotion event for me April 12, 2025. The professionalism, the promptness and punctuality, food, and the ability to work with the customer is hands down the best service I have ever seen! Very very professional. We contacted Carolima's for a work catering event and it was seamless from start to finish. From the invoicing process to set up - very professional. When our food was brought in the staff was alert, dressed in catering branded items clearly showing the name of the business so they were able to be recognized . They brought everything including branded serving utensils and flatware for our team. Thank you again and we will be using you for future events.

We had Carolima's cater an event for our 8th grade students. Middle schoolers are the biggest critics of all but they had nothing but good reviews for the delicious food (especially the fried chicken). We will definitely use and recommend them for future school events.

The lovely ladies of Carolimas was at Trident Medical Center this week, I wish I could give a million stars for the chewies and the service!
