I wanted to provide some feedback regarding my visit today.
Overall, my experience was pleasant, but I observed something that concerned me from a food safety perspective. The young gentleman boxing the to-go desserts accidentally dropped the cap of his marker on the floor. He picked it up while wearing the same gloves he was using to handle and garnish the cookies, without changing them afterward. As a customer, that was difficult to watch and raised concerns about cross-contamination.
I also noticed him repeatedly wiping his gloved hands on his clothing before continuing to handle customers’ orders. Seeing this happen multiple times was concerning and made me question the food handling practices being followed.
I wanted to share this feedback because I genuinely hope it can be used as a coaching opportunity. A little additional attention to glove changes and food safety practices would go a long way in maintaining customer confidence and protecting the great reputation of your brand.
