Holy Cow Burgers & Brew

They have different beers which are really great! The staff is super friendly and they even good knowledge of the food. The burgers were cooked to order and very juicy. The sweet potato fries are to die for too! Been there twice so far and haven't been disappointed.

Pretty good variety of homemade burger and fries. Nicely focus food menu. Everything was cooked exactly as requested. Nice selection of beer. The only negative was that the beer menu wasn't clear on prices. Will be back for sure! Two thumbs up.

Burger was great. Wontons great. Sweet potato fries great. Onion rings a little greasy and not from scratch is my guess ( frozen). Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Just clean up the Dorchester rd frontage of your space. No curb appeal looking at hand painted sign and mop buckets outside....beautiful inside but you would never stop after looking at the d road frontage. Nothing to draw you in. Think of how many cars go by there daily and you have a mop bucket out there? Our waiter was awesome and it was his first day!!! We will be back

Talk about AMAZING!!! Walked in, seated right away! Had a lovely waitress, Emily. She welcomed us.. Was so kind! We ordered a appetizer which was bbq loaded nachos which were to die for. I ordered a cheesy cow.. Holy cow it was the best burger ever!! I highly recommended them and will be back as soon as possible!

Creative burgers! I had the Fat Cow, and boy did I feel like one after I ate it. Only 2 complaints: 1. Pepsi products but no Diet Mountain Dew. And Diet Pepsi is NEVER an acceptable substitution. 2. The fries taste like onion rings. Would be okay if I liked onion rings, but I don't.

Good assortment of big, well prepared burgers. All the usual permutations of ingredients, along with chicken, fish, and pulled pork options.

The burgers were good. We had the jalapeno won tons. They were good as well. It would have been nice to have ketchup on the tables, we had to ask twice to get a bottle. Also extra napkins. The silverware is wrapped at the table but we did not want to have to unwrap other silverware just to get a napkin. Since this is a new place I feel like the server should have asked if we have been there so that some things could be explained. Overall was satisfied.

My wife and I tried Holy Cow for the first time today. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted. The bartender on shift was very personable and was more than happy to offer beer samples. The owner was friendly and personable as well. I ordered the Drunken Cow burger and my wife ordered the Cheezy Cow burger. The bartender was very clear that it would take 16 minutes since my wife ordered medium well. Our food came out in the target time and was well worth the wait. I don't mind waiting for good food! If you want fast food you can support one of the mega-chains. We will definitely be back to try another menu item... loved it!!

Burger choices are great, burgers were cooked perfectly. Love the fried cheese curds. Not a fan of the beer cheese. It tasted grainy. Wish they had coke products, but wouldn't mind trying another version of the burgers and a Moscow Mule for $6!

The food was good but most definitely not worth the wait. It took just short of an hour to get our (2) burgers. The atmosphere is nice but the lack of servers is a real issue. Tables were being left dirty until someone needed to be seated. The burgers were good and have a nice flavor and the fry seasoning was very good. I would never come back to eat in restaurant but I would order to-go and be prepared for the long wait.

We were hesitant about trying this place because of the reviews however - They did not disappoint! Burger was cooked to perfection , HUGE burger - only thing I will say is it could of used some seasoning. French fries come with the burger and they are homemade and probably some of the best I’ve had around. Waitress was great very friendly and personable- Food was out in a timely manner . We were here in a Tuesday night so it’ wasn’t very busy - but we will definitely be back!

Delicious food, kind servers, really nice atmosphere inside- lots of booths to sit at (always a plus). I asked if this was local or a chain or franchise, etc - and was told that it is truly local, which is great because I prefer supporting local restaurants and business. We ordered the Cheese Curds appetizer (and LOVED the dipping sauce - used it with fries after) with a Fat Cow and a Western Cow for our entrees. My husband got the regular fries and I had sweet potato (topped with honey and cinnamon). Generous portions too. Husband tried one of the local beers and we had no room for dessert. I would highly recommend!

The cheese curds were really yum. TVs at every table. Apparently they'll have music trivia on Saturday evenings. Good food. The server was friendly! We will be back!
