She has selflessly been helping the unhoused for years and recently started a nonprofit, The Giving Grounds . ❤️

Was about to go grocery shopping and saw a coffee shop right next to food lion so I had to go check it out. I went in after they closed and they still made me a coffee!! I was so grateful. I asked the lady to make it sweet! She asked if I wanted to still taste the coffee and I said yes. Well mannnnn she delivered 🔥 🔥. Best and strongest coffee I've had to date. I'm planning my next visit to Hurricane coffee co before work this week now 😂. I'm not a regular at any coffee shops but they better get used to seeing me LOL.

By far the best, most welcoming coffee shop I have ever been to. There is so much going on behind the scenes to better this community in every way. Local business helping local community. They have their heart and soul in this for all of the right reasons and you can taste it in everything they serve. I invite you to go and experience it for yourself so you can see what I’m talking about. Standing ovation!

I accidentally stumbled on this place looking for a coffee shop near Crowfield Plantation and I am so happy that I did! The perfect coffee shop with great reading space and study tables. I ordered an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwhich and both were delicious! They have a bunch of other fun menu items that I’m excited to explore!
I also love that the owner is very community oriented and has a community closet with donations within the coffee shop. I can’t say no to Coffee with a Cause! I have already been back twice and will add this to the list as one of our regular spots! Thank yall hurricane coffee co!

Great coffee and sandwiches. Atmosphere is peaceful. Nice and quiet for groups to meet. The owner is very involved with the people in the area that need help. Just a great place!

They have become a community gathering space for all. The owner will feed anyone who is hungry and unable to pay. There is no judgement, only caring efforts. There is a closet with clothing, food, and hygiene products and a washer/dryer for the needy. Many of us who frequent this safe space are happy to support and contribute to the owners efforts. ‘Whoever saves one life, saves the world’.

Amazing service, great coffee, excellent breakfast sandwich. This place is adorable, extremely inclusive and an excellent community resource.

Had a large signature coffee and a large smoothie with protein. Their coffee was excellent, as was the smoothie. The workers are attentive, polite, cordial, and generally wonderful. I loved my experience at this business and will be returning when I am in the area.

Support local businesses. Especially those, like Hurricane Coffee, that are committed to the community. Not to mention, the coffee is stellar.

Awesome signature drinks. I chilled for 2 hours this morning, watching the bike store open. Staff were great. Will definitely be back.
