We have lived in Charleston for years but recently moved to the Summerville area. Heard great things about this place and were really excited about eating here. That feeling left us as soon as we encountered a brunette lady named Jess when giving our order. She didn’t say hello to us, didn’t suggest any items with our order, basically acted as if we were annoying her. Read some reviews and was looking for a good lunch. People were stating reminded them of up in NJ/NY. The only thing it reminded me of up northwas the rude attitude for service... limited seating, we had a pastrami and a egg plant sadwiches... They were ok, not bad but not great, french fries reminded me of grocery store frozen and reheated... The service and attitude is a reason I will never return... go to freddy's...
A great restaurant, the service was fast, ready when I arrived, but more importantly the food was excellent! I will certainly add this to my weekly rotation.
