Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream and Sandwich Cafe

I wanted to bring to your attention a disappointing experience I had during my recent pickup. Chelsea took my order and required payment before entering it, which I understand from a business perspective, but the way it was handled came across as unnecessarily rude.

In addition, the order was not correct, and I had to return twice because the full order was not provided to me. By the time I finally received everything, the food was cold. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. I always tip well and happily pay for both service and quality, but unfortunately this experience lacked both.

Given the circumstances, I feel a credit would be appropriate and appreciated. More importantly, I hope this feedback helps ensure better service and consistency moving forward.

I was waiting for my food, and watched a massive rat run through the kitchen. Never eat here!

Way overpriced.

This was my 1st time back there for ice cream in almost 20 years. I ordered 2 cups with 1 scoop apiece & wet walnuts & spent almost $19. I wish I had checked the website. I could have gotten 2 sundaes 🍨 for the same price & had more ice cream & toppings. Just wanted more bang for my buck. Well, at least the young man that took my order at drive was VERY friendly & patient.

Love the hamburger special, great price for my order hamburger fries drink and ice cream cup. Wonderful service when thru the drive thru.

When I got home, my fries and hamburger were still hot, ready to eat. Great seasoning cheese hamburger.

The burgers here are amazing and of course we came back several times during our trip for the ice cream 😍

It is just simple American Food. Staff did seem a little flustered, and unorganized. It wasn't really that busy. Still good classic food though.

Very disappointing, and to my mind, dangerous. The drive thru service was very slow. No real value for money - two single scoop vanilla ice cream cups, one with fudge sauce only and one with fudge sauce, nuts and chopped banana came to about $20.00 before any gratuity. But most importantly, when they finally arrived, there were nuts on both cups. I took the incorrect order back inside and pointed out the nuts. I did not raise my voice, I did not ask for the manager or a refund. The server rolled her eyes at me but said she would remake the order. I had not been loud or rude, but the rolling of eyes offended me and when she finally gave me the order I pointed out that for some people eating nuts can be potentially fatal. I found the server’s attitude offensive, potentially dangerous and it has really put me off this shop.
