Disappointed with the food. Ordered chicken tender plates. Chicken was hard, mostly breaded opposed to having actual chicken and didn't it taste fresh. It resembled chicken tenders from school cafeteria. The fries weren't fresh either. Had to go inside and place an order since the app wasn't working properly.
Khimaya was very professional. Khimaya carried herself very professional and she knew what she was doing. Pleasant disposition.
The wait staff, servers and the host were all so professional, courteous, and service was prompt.

Applebee's Grill + Bar in Sumter, SC offers a mix of experiences. The burger was enjoyable, and the service was good, with a gracious manager accommodating requests. The two for 25 is a perfect option, and the lunch special seemed like a good deal. The waitress was friendly and makes phenomenal drinks. Each group ate well and enjoyed the meal. However, the restaurant is filthy, with dirt and dust hanging in clumps from the ceilings and dead bugs in the light fixtures. Cleanliness could be improved, as evidenced by dirty plates left around. The staff seemed a little overworked and short staffed. Overall, a decent spot if you set your expectations low.
