“It's not been updated in awhile, but this is now a soul food cuisine/catering spot. Went in not knowing what to expect, and was overwhelmed by the stupendous smells. Came in hungry, left happy and full, the prices are quite reasonable too, with friendly staff.“

“We stopped in Sumter, SC for the night on our drive from Vermont to Florida. Sidebar was strongly recommended for dinner and did not disappoint. BBQ sandwiches were excellent as well as sides (sweet potato fries, baked beans, cole slaw). There's also a lot of choices for draft beers and cocktails. We look forward to another dinner at Siidebar on our way back to Vermont next month.“
