Captain D's is a seafood restaurant located on S Pike next to Shoney's is friendly, clean, and respectable staff and atmosphere. The food is not 5-star quality but palpable. To its credit, CD's gives veterans' and senior discounts! I ordered the Fish and Shrimp Dinner with broccoli and corn on the cob for my sides. The food was brought to the table, hot and fresh. Go! (and don't forget to leave a tip)!

Food was disgusting, we ordered the jambalaya an it was watery ASF , Fish was nasty fries was cold , an a very small portion your better off going home an cooking your own things this is why I cook at home an rarely go out to eat at restaurants.. on top of that we spent 30 bucks now we are pissed an headed to get food from Bojangles lol don't go here they clearly don't live there job!!

Captain Ds is making a pretty decent comeback. My husband and I used to order & eat the fish & fries, & after we ate, we felt as though our mouths were grease buckets, but lately, the food has been light and crisp. With the exception of the re-dropped french fries - Garners Ferry Rd. However, mostly, the food is cooked appropriately, and the taste aligns with a Seafood FAST Food Restaurant. Lately, the fish portion is pretty good. The food fills your belly. Tea (unsweetened) is fresh.
