Wish it was eat in. We drive All the way to the one in Sumter just to eat in. Was so excited when we found out one was coming to Lugoff SC disappointed when we found out it would be a drive through only.
Let me start out by saying that every Cook Out restaurant is NOT the same. While a premise behind some fast food restaurants is that the food should generally taste the same at a specific restaurant no matter which on you visit, my mind is changed. The food at the restaurant in Sumter, S.C. was phenomenal! Add to it a clean facility and a very courteous staff, we will absolutely be back to Cook Out after less than pleasant experiences in Virginia. The food was hot, fresh, and...
Very poor customer service. No smile, no greeting, had to wait several minutes before being acknowledged. Once we got our food, I had to ask for our drinks. I then had to go back up and wait several more minutes just to ask for the sauce that is supposed to come with the onion rings. While I was waiting, a woman was cleaning tables, there was nobody in the lobby the entire time we were there, why couldn't she stop and help me? She saw me standing there waiting for something....
