Love this place for breakfast and lunch. Food is excellent.

heavenly lowe

Good hometown diner feels with a great breakfast. I love the corned beef hash.

The servers were great but the woman who I think is the owner was rude. She came up to my friend, who had her toddler with her, and was telling ME that my friends dress was too short and her underwear was showing. Idk if she thought I was her mother or what since she kept talking to me and barely glanced at her, but it was shocking and so rude! She described what underwear my friend was wearing to the whole restaurant! The servers comped our meals to make up for her behavior and continuously apologized every time they walked up to our table, which was really sweet of them. That woman is living in the early 1900s when women were still required to wear clothes down to their ankles.

Service was good and friendly welcoming employees.I really hate writing a review like this for a local business. Ill give it a 3 for a local business but would give it a 1 if it were a chain. This place needs some serious cleaning.Menus, chairs, cups (chipped), plates(chipped) were dirty. The floor is filthy.I felt kind of disgusted eating there tbh. If what is presented to the guest is that dirty imagine what the parts we can't see like the kitchen look like. The french toast was not cooked. It came out literally mush and raw. Hashbrowns seemed old. They looked more like noodles than potatoes. Couldn't even cut through them. The coffee was watery and had big chunks of stuff floating around in it.

Options seemed limited as the kitchen was out of several different items. Food was okay, but quite greasy and seemed to be old reused oil.

Certainly a mom and pop, small family style restaurant. Feels a little homey to me with the thirfted mugs/glasses because why not?? It could use a little TLC on the exterior and interior but it has its own charcter. We've been a few times since moving to the area. I have yet to be disappointed as the staff has always been friendly and super polite to us. I'd rather go here for a nice simple homestyle meal than to a fast food or chain restaurant or edgy new place. I personally like their 411 Special or their chicken tenders with a side of gravy, my husband enjoys their omletes and homefries. I plan on trying other items as this will be our new regular breakfast/brunch spot. My one complaint is that I don't enjoy them having FOX news on all the time, I think a nice nature channel, fun cooking show or documentary would be more sound.

My food was good but it did take a while for my wife's food to get out they didn't charge us for it but definitely way to slow for a restaurant for one dish to take almost an hour.

I got the cheese burger. Tasted good accept there was twice as much bun than burger. The fries were great.

Arrived a little after 12pm. We were welcomed by a voice behind counter, asked if we were dining in and informed we could take a seat. Waitress was quick with taking order and food arrived shortly after. I had meat loaf special and kids had grilled cheese basket. My meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans was delicious. It tasted very homemade. I also had fried green tomatoes. They were good, was hoping for better. We ate, and it was good, but never got refill on drinks. Will I come back? Yes. I took pics after I started eating. :)

Local southern cafe. They serve up a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Given it was about 10:30, I ordered the 441 special, two eggs over cheesey grits and gravy. It was so freaking good! Real grits too! My husband got the fried chicken burger and it was a letdown. The meat was three fried chicken tenders. The chicken tasted home cooked but it made for an awkward sandwich. The bun fell apart on top of that. Also, of negative note, the whole place will leave you smelling of fryer oil. Try it! It doesn't look like much but it's pretty good!

I went there with my husband for breakfast. I didn't get the fruits or biscuit that should go with the meal. I also only got 2 of the 3 veggies I asked for in the omelet. My husband's food was pretty good but he also didn't get his biscuit after several times of politely asking. They told us that they ran out of some ingredients right before we arrived...When we told them that we weren't satisfied with how things went, they implied it was our fault for arriving at a bad timing where nothing was available and even blamed other customers.I won't go back there ?Ive travelled a lot in the U.S. and this is the worst service I've received.

We were a party of 2. While my food was pretty decent, our visit was unfortunately marred by very poor service. The staff either ignored our requests, hands-up, excuse-me's or eye contact, and would not own up to their own failings. Now, I'm not one to be unfair. They were visibly quite busy, given they didn't have the staff needed to facilitate all the people they let in without a wait list. I gave them all the kindness, time, and grace possible. But when it came time to pay, I had to argue over paying for all the items we did not receive. They initially even upcharged one of our meals after "applying a discount", and blamed everyone and everything else for their service failings rather than own up to the mistakes they made. I would have forgiven all of it, if not for these last points. In the end, we did receive a bill commensurate with the food provided. That said, I wouldn't recommend a return here.
