I have gone to Kobe Japanese restaurant multiple times my 20+ years living in Sumter. Recently had my wedding reception there and the food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Everyone at the event thoroughly enjoyed their food. In fact 1 of our guests, who lives out of town requests we pick up food from the restaurant whenever we visit them out of town. I personally love their Hibachi.
I had the pikachu rolls and with another roll that I forgot due to how good the pikachu rolls were. I also had hibachi chicken and veggies as well as my wife. A little bit on the higher end side with prices but easily worth it with how good it
Don't be fooled by the store front, it looks more like a shoe store than a restaurant. Once inside, it is a smallish, but clean hibachi kitchen. Our servers were really nice and attentive. The food was all prepared well and the prices are very reasonable.
