Ordered the chicken hibachi, steak hibachi, and spicy salmon rolls for my husband and I to share. No where in the menu description did it say that there would be tempura flakes in the middle of the sushi rolls. I am allergic and quickly noticed the flakes deep in the middle after eating a roll. Still had a bad reaction. My husband called and the person on the phone said that we should've called and requested no tempura flakes (how were we supposed to know if its not listed on the menu?). They then proceeded to tell us that it's not their responsibility, and we should take it up with Uber Eats, not them. The hibachi was also very mediocre, steak wasn't seasoned at all. You're better off making it yourself at home. This place is not allergy friendly and does not care about their customers!!!!!

Have been here several times over the past decade. After being in town (Dec 2023) since moving away, I decided to order takeout as I have many times in the past. This time the food was inedible. My entire family actually threw our meals away. The steak/filet mignon had a very strong gamey taste so much so, that we were gagging. Several portions of the rice were hard and crunchy. The gyoza we ordered also tasted extremely off and were very soggy. Needless to say, we wont be going back. Highly disappointed because they used to be so good.

Excellent hibachi with generous portions. Enjoyed chicken and shrimp with broccoli and mushrooms. Had a side of zucchini and onions which made the meal perfect. Scallops and shrimp looked great too. Definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: Hibachi vegetables
Very disappointed with my food. I ordered the vegetables hibachi. The carrots were too sweet for me to even enjoy them. I had so much carrots on my plate with little broccoli, mushrooms, etc. I didn't have the rice and was suppose to get extra vegetables which was an additional $4 upcharge. I didn't get more vegetables and was still charged $4.I did enjoy the miso soup which was good. It had tofu, green onion and seaweed. It came out very hot which I truly appreciated. The service was good .

Sushi rolls are decent but TERRIBLE service. As an African American woman with child, coming to eat on a Sunday night. all the other tables were served and cashed out before we were ever acknowledged, the vibe seem like they gelt forced to even come near us much less serve my table. one guy asked if we wanted a drink and never came back and then had to call another server over to take our order and she wasn’t any better. they weren’t even busy. They give good service to who they want to. Rolls are just okay for that attitude and y’all are minorities yourselves, I couldn’t understand it. The cashier WAS EVEN WORSE when it came time to cash out . NEVER . COMING BACK .Parking: Screw them

Nov 2023 update: 6 years ago I gave this place 5 stars. For over 13 years this place was one of my favorites to eat at in Sumter. Prices used to be very reasonable and the food was great. But now.... Prices have gone WAY up and quality has gone WAY down. The hibachi chicken i got tonight was bland, flavorless and disappointing. Definitely wasn't up to the standard I was used to. Also they used to give you a ton of chicken and mushrooms with the rice but not anymore... Sad to see another favorite place ruined.
Who puts an open container with soy sauce and no lid in a bag to go?? Spilled all over the rug in my car I ordered Spring rolls and that is not what I got!! Steak over cooked !! We will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN !!!! FOOD SUCKS!!!!!!!
