If you like a hint coffee flavor with an overwhelming burnt taste, then search no further this Starbucks location does it the best and never misses. I've searched from coast to coast, state to state, and city to city and have found this one (Alice Dr and Broad St) that will have your ice shaken espresso taste burnt and undrinkable no matter when you order. Thankyou for the endless disappointment time and time again, now I remember why I was adding 15min to drive out of my way to choose a different location.

For many months while I lived in Sumter in 2023 I found myself coming to this Starbucks almost every other day for a Venti Chai with Almond Milk, 6 extra pumps and whip cream with chocolate drizzle. I came in so much that half the time my drink was already being made and finished closely after I had paid for my drink. It was quite common I also got a spinach, feta and egg white wrap which also would be done in time. Very caring, engaging, sweet and hard working employees at this Starbucks, which is insane compared to some locations within Sumter, these guys really put in there all. I miss living in Sumter and I miss this Starbucks. Keep up the hard work and may this store continue to thrive. As you all know the prices are the prices, but this is a good location, I highly recommend.

Went to Starbucks last night, sat in line behind one person for 20 minutes, that person had ordered and just sat there. After finally pulling up I figured out why... I ordered my 3 grande caramel ribbon crunches and was told to stay at the order box. I sat there for another 15 minutes. I pulled up and went to give the lady the only money (i had no cards on me right then) I had which was $100 and she refused it. I had to ask my passengers if they had any money. Thankfully my daughter covered us but I had to go to a gas station to break the 100 to pay her back causing an extra stop and we were already running late from sitting in the line for more than 40 minutes. It wasn't worth it, really.
