My mother is disabled and called in to the restaurant to see if a worker could bring her food out to her since she was unable to go inside while I was working. Normally, I’d go and pick it up for her if she needed. She did not have any urgency with the request and let them know she would wait as long as she needed to, patiently, of course. The worker said no and that was the end of it. It’s interesting how this establishment allows ableism to pass.
Take this for what you will, but we will continue going to Angels and spending our money there. They were able to bring her food to her with no problem and she waited for it while she read her book.
I hardly ever write reviews, but I do when it calls for it. I don’t care for any fallacies in a response. Just wanted to call this out for any other disabled folks that need to hear this.

Watch the hidden sign that they post that are not eye catching. My daughter’s did not like their meal so I asked to order something else and sent the other food back and was still charged. My waiter did not tell me that I would still be charged before I sent the food back. When I asked to talk with the manager it took him a long time to come out and talk to me and then he over talked me and wouldn’t not take the charges off. I won’t be going back the food is questionable and you will not get a refund after the food is prepared even if it’s not good. Came to dinner for my dad’s birthday, was told 15 minute wait but ended up being over 45 min wait. Once seated it was all good until the food came out.. everyone’s food came out except for the children plates. We were told by the waitress that they were coming.. the adults all had there food but yet the kid quesadilla plates were still being made?? The children plates should come with or before the adult meals.. the kids had to wait over 15 mins after receiving the adults meals for food.. no apology and nothing to make it right.. we got attitude from the waitress there on after. Once the bill came we were given a gratuity. Which yes I understand a gratuity but after all we had to go through to just get our kids meals and entertain them while waiting to be told they can’t even take it off or reduce it and Hectors son being rude about it and not wanting to make nothing right about it. We come to Yucatán all the time!!! We used to prefer it over others in the area but after tonight we will take our business elsewhere. Server, Hectors son and the other gentleman at cash register at the time had no remorse and no apology.. oh and hectors son also spoke up and said the WAITRESS DID NOT PUT THE KIDS PLATES IN.. so it wasn’t the kitchen backed up.. there food was never put in.

Traveling to Florida for the season… Stayed in Sumter and had dinner here last night. Excellent Mexican food, excellent service, exactly what we were looking for! 10 stars!
Decided to go here for another Bday-month dinner. Usually my experience is on-point but tonite was definitely a NO-NO!!
Ordered the Three Amigos because it looked good the last time my friend ordered it. But mine just didn't look appealing. Switched out the salad for beans but they came out covered in grease which was from the steak (which was too fatty). When I tried to replace it with another meal, I was told that they couldn't take food back (some new policy) and that if I ordered something else, I would have to pay for both. WHERE THEY DO THAT AT??? Who pays for food they didn't eat?
Anyway, I will NEVER be coming back here (have been here many times) nor will I recommend them anymore! Thx for NOT allowing me to enjoy a Bday meal :(
