Changing my review. Ate here three years ago and thought it was really good. Now not so much. Not sure what has changed, new owners, changing of recipes , my taste buds ??? Anyway, had the three enchiladas lunch and it was very disappointing. The salsa seemed like just crushed tomatoes and water, nothing else. The enchiladas sauce, also flavorless and watered down. Ground Beef filling also not that tasty. In one word , my lunch was bland. Can no longer recommend this place.

Really liked the decor, the seating needs some updating, rips in the seat. Doesn’t take away from the delicious food and the smiling service and the price was right.

We moved to the area from Texas and have been in search of a decent Mexican restaurant. This place came recommended to us so we tried it out. Firstly, I realize we’re not in Texas and take that into account but what I received for my lunch is completely unacceptable to anyone’s standards. I ordered a Tostada with rice and a Taco. Not difficult at all! The picture included shows what I received, minus the Taco that was on a separate plate. I ate some of the rice and a few bites of the taco, it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. The taco only had meat and cheese on it. I don’t know anyone who would find the “tostada” appetizing or could even stomach eating it so it went untouched. As for the service, it was okay. Our server checked on us and refilled our drinks but my husband asked for salsa verde and the guy acted like he didn’t want to give it to him. Made a comment about it being “too spicy” and brought something back that was green about 8 minutes later. It was definitely not any salsa verde we have had before and not at all spicy, it was overwhelmingly citrusy. So disappointed.

We LOVE Yucatan! We go here probably 1 to 2 times in a week. For a family of 3 we can eat here for the same price as eating at a fast food restaraunt, if not less! We love the employees and the owner! They're all great people! Very friendly! 100% recommend!

We had a birthday celebration. The staff came out and sang happy birthday a let the birthday boy were a really nice sombrero during the meal. The waitress was great. And the food, as always, was excellent! I highly recommend you try it if you have not already.

Not terrible, but there are a few misleading items on their menu, that aren't served as they traditionally are served at most other Mexican restaurants. To say that they served Chiles Rellenos in their lunch items, is false and quite a stretch. I have visited this location at other times, and hadn't taken notice before. I ordered Chiles Rellenos with a Beef Burrito combination, and let me tell you what I got. The meals were brought out in less than 5 minutes. This tells me one very clear thing. The food was preprepared and refrigerated, then thrown in a microwave and heated up. Then, on my plate, there was no rea stuffed chile pepper you could speak of. It was a scoop of ground beef, and one tiny little square of chile, that was less than an inch in size. It really just a lump of ground meat with some cheese topping. The burrito was softened up by the microwave, and stuff with beef. So in essence, it was a beef burrito with a side of more beef. SMHNO CHILE RELLENO that I've seen ever looked so sad. I was there with my wife, but will not be returning. Los Gringos don't know any better, so they'll keep coming. We have much better Mexican restaurants in Horry Country, SC
