Unfortunately it was a disappointment. Ordered a half rack of ribs with sweet potatoes and onion rings on the side. The included hush puppies were not edible. The meat was very fatty.

My first time here 12/30/2025. Wow. Three tacos are spot on. The brisket taco was to die for. I will definitely come back. Also the Waitress was on top of things.

Amazing Authentic Homemade food. The Hickory BBQ Pork and Texas Beef Brisket were delicious and an amazing deal for both especially with their Big Daddy or Granddaddy combos. Their Hush Puppies are to die for and come with a sweet cinnamon butter spread/dip. The place looks like a bit of a hole in the wall especially from the outside but their service is good and fast. Would 10/10 recommend and would even come back later today for dinner.

Food is not that great. I Got the brisket and it's was a fatty, over cooked, pile of mush and the BBQ beans tasted like they came from a can because they had no flavor. I wouldn't even try the stew after trying the other two items. The place I wanted was closed and I will never come here again. I highly recommend you go to the Swig & Swine if you want good tasting BBQ for the same price.

Had the brisket which was a bit dry. The green beans were good & the fries were excellent. My wife had pulled pork which was good. The corn pops were very good! Brunswick Stew was too salty and WAY too tomatoes. The facility good be cleaner. I got a fork that was greasy to the touch. Asked and received another fork, no apology just dropped it off and kept going.

I really was looking forward to this place, but everything was really disappointing. The brisket was inedible, like it was sitting at the bottom of a steam table pan for a week. I’ve never had brisket that had hardened so much on the outside, you couldn’t even bite through it. Same thing with the ribs, there was a hardened shell that formed on the outside of the skin. I just pulled it off and ate the meat inside. Harder than beef jerky. Pulled pork was very basic, lacking flavor and smoke. I don’t know if they claim to smoke their food, but there is zero smoke flavor to any of it. Also, there was zero salt added to the potato salad. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but what I paid for felt like an insult.
