Plantation Pancake House

This trip was my first time eating there and it was my wife who picked the place to eat. We both decided to grab the kitchen sink omelette with home fries. The staff were always friendly from the time we walked in and the omelette was amazing and huge. I’ll end up adding this one to my list of places to eat when I’m in town again.

I go with a group of guys every week. Service is always great and the staff has a table ready for us when we get there. Amanda is usually our waitress and does an awesome job of taking care of us.

The waitresses are adorable and so helpful. The service is fast, but accurate. The food is delicious. And the portions are large. None of us were able to finish what they serve as breakfast. It's full of local regulars, so we Knew we hit a good place.

The people and the service here are the best. However, today my party of 4 went here for breakfast, (3 of us ordered Egg Benedict’s) and I’m sorry to say that these were the worst benedicts any of us have ever had. The eggs were hard, the ham was crispy, and the hollandaise was like water and without taste. So disappointing.

It was an okay place to eat breakfast, but nothing to write home about. I had a big country mess and it was good but not outstanding. I kind of wish I had the French toast instead because my wife thought that was pretty special. That's why I gave the rating of four star.

I enjoyed a cheesesteak omelet, it was good. My husband enjoyed the Dirty Myrtle (shredded crab meat and shrimp w hollandaise sauce). The waitress was attentive and very nice and friendly. The place could use a little interior update, but it was clean.

Food was greasy. Tasted funny. They don't use real cheese. ( sliced processed cheese) made the omelet taste weird. I guess I'm use to REAL cheese. My home fries were hard and burned. Sour dough toast was the best thing on my plate. I got the Carolina omelet with home fries.
