Terrible service!!! Bartender disappeared for long stretches.We have been an owner of a place in Garden City for over 30 years (we walk here often). Prior to that, I have been coming to Surfside/Garden City Beach since the 60s. I had my first beer here. They weren't serving food when we were there, so we had chips and bevs, and loved this place. It had the best close up view of the ocean than any place we went - right on the other side of the window where we were sitting. As customers came in many seemed to know each other and they were friendly to all us newcomers! My friend and I just stopped in for lunch. We had the soft pretzels and the smoked ring pizza. It was so awesome. The bartender Shane was so nice and quick. They have an outside area also which is shaded. Great food and friendly staff. I'm glad we decided to try something new today. We will be back for sure.
