Great food, very good service and a very personable owner!!! It was a wonderful dining experience for our last night at the beach.

I threw a surprise 50th birthday party for my girlfriend and they gave us the private room. Chris was our server and he was very catering to us. The food was amazing! I didn't realize with the entrees that you get soup or salad along with bread. I had about 23 people there and everybody raved over the food.

Sal the owner was very personable.

Not only will I go back, but people from the party said that they would definitely go back as well

Been coming to the Myrtle Beach area for years and wanted to try. Just never had an opportunity until today. Really glad we came in. The food and service were excellent. This is kind of an old school Italian place. Very healthy (sized) menu with lots of options. Our waitress brought us some garlic knots. Hot, fresh and delicious. Chose to pass on the appetizers as we wanted to have a full dinner. Glad we made that decision. We ordered a chicken saltimbocca and a sacchettini a la vodka with meatballs. Wow it was a lot of food. Each of us took home half. Dinners come with soup/salad. Had a traditional tartufo for dessert. If you haven't had that before, and like Gelato, it's a must. 2 types of Gelato, encased in chocolate and served cut into slices to share. Excellent! Decent bar, live music a couple days ea week. We truly enjoyed the place and will absolutely come back. As a side note, they have pizza. Several other tables ordered and they looked great. Everyone was taking some home so again portions are very good.

My family has eaten at Valentinos dozens of times over the years. The food and atmosphere are top notch. Recently, the service seems to have been slowly slipping. One recent Christmas Eve, my family (5 adults and a baby) became so frustrated waiting almost an hour for our order, we took it all to go because my grandson was well beyond his bedtime. Tonight, we had to pass on dessert for the same reason. Our server apologized telling us she was dealing with a large table. Her explanation made me wonder why our table didn't count as much as the other. I appreciate that she was busy, but perhaps she could've asked less busy colleagues to pick up the slack. We will dine Valentinos again, of course, but my hope is that this great local restaurant will work on the service bugs.

Me and my 99 yr old mom was are first time at Valentinos restaurant in surfside an are last time my mom got cheese raviolis and me lasagna the cook had put a lot of sauce on our pastas, which is good if you like the sauce, but it had a very, very sour taste to it. I scooted it mine to the side, but my mother couldn’t eat it so we asked the server to please take it away what he did and then he went and talked to the owner and said that we were free, loaders and trying to get a free meal, which was not TRUE at all they didn’t even offered us any thing at all not even a bowl of soup to take home or anything that did not have sauce on. It would’ve been fine and the owner come over and said that we were freeloaders and trying to get a free meal I said I’m sorry. The only thing is we said that your sauce is sour which were Italians our self the longer you cook the sauce it gets that bitter out of it. I put a little bit of sugar in mine to get the bitter out. I worked in restaurants in my whole life. I know what they do in them kitchens. They open up a can of sauce throw it in the steamer and that’s they’re cooking.There home made sauce it steam but if you need to eat it right away, it’s not cooked long enough and then he told us to leave and that we were never allowed back in there, and I told him me and my mother will never go back in here and for you a owner not to even ask what is wrong can I get you something else but to just come right too are table
And called us freeloaders our bill was over $50 just food only no big deal about trying to get a free meal like he thought we just said the sauce was sour which it was and he said he’s been there for 40 years and everyone says how he’s got the best sauce in South Carolina. Well when I looked around there was only two people sitting at a small bar and us so it couldn’t be the best sauce in the world cause I didn’t see no line at the door, but my first and last time there my mother was so upset. I had to bring her home and calm her down with a cup of tea and two aspirins because she couldn’t stop crying how mean they were to my mother 99 yrs old so please be aware when. Eating at Valentino Italian restaurant make sure you ask to taste the sauce first cause if not, you’ll getting thrown out and called a freeloader . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT
